Michael Vick is an idiot. That bullshit proves he is not a leader and why he's never won shit.
I realize he was the better option than Geno Smith, but the Jets had to find out. Better to be a losing team testing out a potential franchise QB than winning a few games, but still being irrelevant, using a washed up QB.
On a different note, I called the Jets over the Steelers. That's classic Mike Tomlin right there.
I also got lucky and grabbed Martavis Bryant for this week as T.Y Hilton was on a bye. He went off for 24 points and I'll move to 8-2 in my F&F league. Even if I flame out in the playoffs, I made a respectable run as defending champ.
That's great because I'm tanking in my work league. 4-5 and about to lose again. My RBs there are dumpster fires: Stacy, Asiata, Martin, and Greene.

I'm hoping he develops into a quality WR. Nabbed him for cheap.

Darrey! Darrey! Hopefully this boosts his trade value. Just way too much separation in the divs this season in keeper PPR. Not enough competition, not enough people who give a fuck, not enough dudes who'll unload a decent WR for him.

Damn. Cam Newton looks so bad, he's like an anorexic JaMarcus Russell.

He's hurt. Our tackles are beyond bad. Something like 9 sacks this game?, Newton literally looks up, and then gets hit. I'm not saying Newton would be a superstar without it, but he looked good in the first few games before the hits started to wear him down, especially the last few games.
Each game he gets hurts worse. Newton has some work and development to do, but this is on the Panthers as an organization for not replacing any talent we lost on our offensive line. I think we are the only team starting 4 UDFAs on the line. it's nuts.
It's not an injury situation either, we planned to go into this season with the two tackles that played last night.

Cleveland Browns: 11-5. I'm calling it now. Division winner on the line against the Ravens, last game of season, and the Browns win.

The difference between this quarterback situation and Palmer/Stanton is this: Nick Foles wasn't playing well when he got hurt. And Sanchez has some natural talent that might have been obscured by the Jets' tire fire. The 2014 Eagles are a better team with Sanchez
From here.
Bold statement.
I picked him up in keeper league, to go into my ever rotating cast of crap for QBs. He certainly did better than E Manning, Hoyer, or Orton. We'll see if that keeps up, especially once Hoyer gets Gordon back.

WOW!! I love your bold prediction Catt! Not even I am ballsy enough to make that call, but I love it!
The schedule is looking kindly in their favor, but 4 of the last 6 games are on the road. They must win the final games vs their division and beat the AFC teams for any potential tie breakers.
Browns fans are feeling confident, but still the talk in town is Manziel vs Hoyer. Does Hoyer get the contract.. Does the owner want Manziel playing.. ect.. CMON! we are off to the best start in 19 years and this is what people want to talk about?! So wish Manziel was never drafted, I think he's got potential but I liked Hoyer from the little bit I've saw of him and he's performing with the huge distraction of Manziel and without 3 pro-bowlers on offense.
Catt.. I hope to GOD you are right. Its been a LOOOOONG time since we've had anything to cheer about.

You're fist-fucking me. There's talk? Name any Browns QB in the last thirty years not named Kosar that's done better than Hoyer.

There is none. There has only been 2 years with remotely decent QB play since then. 1994, Vinny Testicle-squirty, and a flash in the pan pro-bowl year by Derek Anderson in 2007.

Trade deadline time in a couple days in standard league. Trying to unload Larry D. Got a single top 20 WR. #1 QB, RB, TE, and another RB1 to boot. Still can't catch the fucker in first. Always one game ahead.

Washed up vet agrees with washed up vet. They'd probably be doing better if they dumped your ass, CJ, and went with Ivory.

The Jets win a game that Pittsburgh basically handed to them, and people think the world has changed.
Talk to me in 2 weeks.

Cool thing about my keeper PPR league is the trade deadline is a week later than most folks. Want to trade Sproles for a WR1-/WR2+. Will complement Brandon Marshall, Eric Decker, and Martavis Bryant. Will have Danger Russ, Lynch, Bradshaw, and Gronk with my WR corp. Leading my div and got someone 1 game behind me.
Standard league:
All kinds of deals flying this week. In addition to the Larry D trade, Fred Jackson sent for Brandon LaFell. Trying to unload Big Ben + Andre Johnson for Justin Forsett. Luck is back this week., DeMarco on bye. 6-4 but 8 goddamn teams have a shot at the championship, so I think I'm in as long as I don't suck too hard. Also have Gronk and Al Morris here.
catt league:
Fucked.
