Trade goes through. Cam for Brandon Marshall.
I'm actually catching flak for this in the league. The hell?
Why?
Cam's a shitty QB and Marshall plays with a shitty QB.
No idea. A really bad trade went through last week because "no one cared.". Both my pay leagues have had trade hissy fit this season.

I'm not sure which side of that trade you were on based on your poor use of English.

Last week was Run DMC + Megatron for Alfred Morris and V-Jax. The dude getting Megatron is a contender and the dude letting him go is just plain stupid. That trade went through because of some perceived "apathy." I guess not enough people voted to veto it, the commish (also a contender) wanted it vetoed, and he didn't get enough support. He's the one bitching about me sending Cam and getting Brandon. Other league, half the teams burst their manginas when someone traded Russell Wilson for Garcon.

Deangelo Hall semi-pulls a Nate Burleson.
Johnny Clipboard speaks.
"I feel like I'm in the role that I need to be at this time," he said. "And, for me, obviously, I wasn't where I needed to be throughout the earlier stages of being here, and now is my time to play catch-up and throughout this year has been my time to play catch-up and make sure I'm on top of my things, continuing to get better where I want to be and what's up to my level and also the coaches' level of where I need to perform."
Translation: I had no idea how much I sucked and still do suck Ron Jeremy-calibre cock.
Manziel added that he's "still extremely hungry" and added that he was disappointed by his play coming out of the preseason. Manziel knows he had a chance to win the job out of camp, and he let the opportunity pass him by.
Opportunity walked by him a few times when he was on his way to the men's room to do more blow or off to party. I'm a bit surprised the Jets didn't try to get him at the deadline. As with the Jags-Tebow scenario. In exchange for a loser player or two and draft picks NYJ would piss away anyhow, worst case: you sell more tickets and merch.

Yep. Requested the trade canceled. Tired of convincing the commish that Brandon Marshall isn't the dude from 2-3 years ago.
Me
Trading a WR3/flex (Marshall's #25 right now) for a QB2 is lopsided? I got crap WRs. Tony's got no backup QB if Luck gets unlucky. Cam Newton beats Austin Davis and other waiver wire fodder if that happens, and Tony's still got the other, better Chicago WR.
Commish
You don't have to have a backup when you've got a stud. I'm rolling the dice with A-Rod right now (eww can't believe I called him that) so I have to get through this bye week with Alex Smith. Sure if Rodgers goes down I'm fucked, but that's my gamble. It makes zero sense to me to trade for a one week plug in when you are giving up a starter. Don't hand me that bs that he's a wr 3. You can't say that with a straight face. Ranked 25th... so one spot from wr 2. Sorry, horrible trade on Tony's part. Great trade for you. Very lopsided indeed.
Me
Cam's got a wuss schedule the rest of the season. He IS that team's offense. They have one of the shittiest RB platoons in the league. He leads their rushing. There's a 90% chance he's getting a part of every TD over there. Also, I'd like to note I had him backing up Russell Wilson the entire year. Finally, for all anyone knows, Tony intends to trade him to someone else looking for a QB. Maybe that dude couldn't trade with me because he didn't have a WR to give up. Maybe Tony's planning on dealing Newton for someone else. Maybe he wants to stash him and trade next season. He can make his own decisions. How long have you been playing in this league with him?
Brandon Marshall is the old dude that hasn't scored since week 4. He's overshadowed by his far more talented WR partner. He's Isaac Bruce when Torry Holt was coming up. His schedule is not kind the remainder of the season. He's got Jay goddamn Cutler throwing to him. He's not exactly blowing up this year. 1 multi-TD game. 1 game with 100+ yards. 3 games with 5+ catches. Will I start him every week? Hell yes. Because compared to Crabtree and Decker, he looks golden and Cutler's still a notch throwing-wise above Kaep and Geno Vick.
Let's check who Tony might start before Marshall: TY Hilton, Andre Johnson, Alshon. Even if he's flexing a WR, Marshall's fighting with Andre Johnson for starts every week. Again, that's playing 3 WRs. You only need 2.
Somehow we've only got 3 teams with winning records right now, so the competition's tight and all that, but come on. One man's starter is another man's backup. Whether or not your star has a safety net and where it comes from is a preference. In terms of points scored, Cam and Brandon are roughly equivalent. Marshall's at best a low-end WR2. Cam's a low-end QB2. They've each got potential to hit QB1/WR1 respectively, but they aren't playing like it. Seriously dude, you have 3 WRs doing better or just as good as Brandon. Mike Wallace + Ryan Tannehill is outdoing Cutler + Marshall.

Our F&F league has no trades. I'm starting to think it's the way to go.

Yeah, fuck that. This is the commish being pissed because one of the two teams he think he'll be playing in the championship scored a trade rape a week or two ago because not enough people vetoed it. Additionally...
Commish
No where in that long winded speech did you convince me.
Stats = long-winded speeches.
Can't believe this is the second league with a trade scandal involving the commish. In the other one, the commish was accused of shoving through a Garcon-for-Wilson trade before enough people had a chance to vote on it. What the fuck is in the air this year?

Redskins - Vikings - Officials fucked up two interception calls, and now the hit on RG3 (which should not have been called).
They're almost as bad as the Vikes' coach.

Complete and total bullshit.

No one's that bad.
Keeper PPR: benching Decker and playing Hawkins plus Russell Wilson choking today is going to cost me the game unless Torrey Smith does nothing (possible to likely) and Bradshaw has a very, very good day (possible but not likely).
Rams: Christ. Anyone noticed they've beaten the Seahawks and Frisco?

Next Skins game I am going to is St. Louis. Don't really have a good feeling about it.
And I have no idea how to feel about the NFC West. I get confused every time I try.

It's like their offense blows, but they eek out wins against div opponents. Defense is ok, but Long's gone now.

Martavis Bryant ... outdoing Crabtree. My luck with WEs and Ks has been horrible this year. And the cocksucker that did the Megatron deal is beating me with the WR I kicked last week, torrey fucking smith. Fuck football this week.

I think the best thing to happen to the Steelers season was getting their ass kicked by the Browns.. That really pissed them off. Glad Cleveland don't have to play them anymore this season.

Andre Johnson: probably not ecstatic about his offensive role.
Chip Kelly thinks Sanchez is a QB.
More RG3, more drama.

Sanchez certainly appeared to be more of a QB than Weeden.

Antwaan Randle-El is a better QB than Weeden. Completion percentage is probably higher.
