Eh, game is new, best price I've seen anywhere.

I'd get it if I had time to play

I'm debating it.

Getting a new PC in Q1, and it'll have a lot more horsepower than the one I currently have. Thus, I've held off on playing Duke, Rage, and several other games. So I have those waiting for me. Not to mention LoL.

I might wait and see if another sale drops the price further. I've seen several new titles drop from full price to $19.99 within 6 months. Although, I doubt that will happen to Skyrim.

You can trade TF2 items. That might be the easiest route to go. Next time we're on Steam, we'll do that.

Skyrim may be expensive, but you get a LOT of hours for your money.

Bought Dungeon Defenders 4pack. Gave ones to Leisher and Gordon. Sorry TPR, looks like you bought it today? Cake already had it before.

Have 1 extra. Anyone?

Hey, thanks.

But I just looked and I don't see it in Steam.

Probably delayed.

You're doing it wrong.

Look under View --> Inventory.

Just looked and I have two unopened gifts...Hmmmm...will have to investigate when I return from Costco.

No, I'm not doing it wrong. It isn't in my game library, it isn't in my inventory, and I have Pending Gifts (0).

I'm not whining, just wouldn't want to see Catt get ripped off.

OK, try again. I may have only sent it to Leisher, misunderstanding the radio buttons for check boxes.

Although, I still see all 3 in my inventory.

Sent you a return gift that is still in my inventory, but under gifts pending, it's also there.

I have not received your gift.

Did you send via email or Steam?

Got it, thanks!

OK, according to Steam, you and Gordon each have it as pending, now. It looks like I somehow sent 2 to Gordon earlier. (Both sent via Steam)

Computers are hard.

Prior to everything changing at 1 p.m. EST on Thursday, there are a bunch of good grabs in today's deals.

Also, Dungeons of Dredmor is fantastic. It's "Rogue", but with graphics and a lot more comedy.

I still need the trade achievement, anyone else need it from the 23rd? Then I'll have 7 pieces of coal, which has to be enough to win the grand prize, right?

I need it for 7 pieces as well

Regarding the 50% off coupons:

Near as I can tell, if you have a 50% off coupon in your inventory, then the prices you see when you click "Show eligible games" is the price with the discount already applied. It's a somewhat strange way to do things, since 3 of us who are arguably internet experts didn't know what we were looking at and couldn't figure out how to apply the coupon, and I only figured it out after researching the issue for 15 minutes. You'd think Valve would have some real-world examples of online shopping and shopping carts and the application of coupons from which to copy.

Also, one discount per item. They don't stack. I also learned this through googling, and not at a glance in the description of the coupon... also dumb.

Steam Store is nice, but still needs some polish.
