Ok, I get the Washington fan shitting on his team, but Malcolm, your team is winning. Despite what you may think about the coach and QB, I advise you enjoy it while it lasts.

When's the last time the Vikings were a legit contender?

Seriously, If I were in Malcolm's shoes... M's only conceivable gripe would be: a better coach would make this team a Super bowl lock, instead of just playoff contender, but still. The only things the Redskins will ever contend for is a wild card spot.

Childress sucks, period. Removing him is going to (on average) make shit better. Hell, Rosenfels can probably coach better. On principle, I'm pissed beyond words that a multi-time retiree is QB'ing my team. From a practical standpoint, provided we don't try to become a passing team & the turnovers are kept to a minimum -- hell, that's all we really need. That'll make other teams respect the run & we'll kill.

Ain't no such thing as a lock w\ a prima donna like Favre. There's always a 5% or so chance he'll force about ten straight attempts into quadruple coverage in the fourth quarter just because he hallucinates that he can. & the Vikings are fully capable of losing/beating themselves.

I see your 5% and raise you at least 50%.

Life could be worse.

Stat of the day:
Dolphins Wildcat offense over past 2 games: 21 attempts, 37 yards.

Sounds about right.

I'm tired of hearing about that damned scheme & how it's "revolutionized" the game.

Belichick sums up the Redskins
Cole: Why are there so many bad teams around the league this year?

Belichick: Here’s the only thing I’ll say: I think to have a really good team in this league, you have to make a lot, a lot of good decisions. You have to have a lot of good people, players, coaches, whatever. You need a lot of those. Conversely, to not be competitive, you would have to have a lot of bad decisions. One bad decision is not going to do it, one bad player is not going to do it, one bad coach is not going to do it. You’re going to have to collectively, over a cumulative period of time, make a long series of bad decisions and accumulate a lot of players who are substandard for their position. There have to be a multitude of things that go wrong.

About this week ...

The Bears still aren't a real team. The Bengals might be.

Where the hell did Carolina's running game come from? It sure as fuck ain't coming from their opponents respecting their passing game.

Chris Johnson is officially the entire offensive scheme for the Titans.

Arizona must've cloned their football team. One copy sucks & the other can toss TDs at will. They alternate which team plays.

It's far easier to have your team implode than it is to have them consistently perform well.

Thoughts: ANY Passing when you are down by 3 and 5 minutes left in the game and already have 170 rushing yards is stupid.

Not bringing the blitz when the Saints are down by 14, also dumb.

Basically, that game was on John Fox.

Thursday game this week everyone needs one pick in by then. As for bad teams. Did anyone watch the Detroit game. How many times can one shoot yourself in the foot. I thought they could actually win it. I told a lion fan it may have been less painful to stick a needle in my eye than to watch the second half of that game.

Why the hell is there a game this Thursday? Just because?

NFL network needs to pretend to be watched by someone.

Five picks? Christ on a crutch, FIVE picks?

EDIT : I find it appropriate that a shitty, boring game was the one featured on NFL Network. Fuck you for artificially removing normally televised games, fuckers.

Remember the preseason when Cutler going to the Bears made them instant Super Bowl contenders?

Oops.

Fucking AP & his goddamned fumbles. We'd've at least ten more points now. & that shitty pitch. Fucking hell, I can pitch a fucking football. Can't believe we ain't up more than a score.

Suppose I could say the same about the Saints v. Rams.
