Goddamnit. He's pitying the fools, but in the Kumbaya way, not the B.A. Baracus fuck-you-up way. He's literally pitying the fools.

Page 1 is seriously dicked, obviously.

I'm 4 episodes in to season 1 of Heroes.

Observations:

Claire goes through, like, a cheerlleading outfit every episode. She must have a stockpile.
People in Tokyo, New York City, and Texas would not be able to simultaneously watch a solar eclipse.

Question:

If Claire had sex, would her hymen regenerate every time, making her a perpetual virgin?

What did you do? It looked like a rogue /table tag somewhere, but I wasn't going to go looking for it.

This happened on some other old thread too.

I went to "edit" on each jacked up post, then hit submit/post/whatever. It kinda fixes itself.

There were 4 bad posts on the first page, all had quotes. So I'm guessing it has something to do with the way quotes used to be done

Also, you notice how many lives were screwed up by their psycho mothers? I count at least 3, Silar, the Patrelli's, and Micah.

I saw ten minutes of one episode of Heroes. It was ass.

Possibly the most non-episodic show I've ever seen. If you miss one minute of one episode, you will be lost. Not a single stand-alone episode.

At least S1 was that way.

My wife had never watched the Breakfast Club before, so we did this past weekend (on VHS no less).

The one thing they all had in common was hating their parents.

On a related note, the cheerleader fancies herself a singer.

This is Claire Bennet's new single, and if you can stand it, listen to all the lyrics. Worst song I've ever heard.

<object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value=" name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><embed src="" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>

This song makes me like Heroes less.

1. I'd hit it.
2. She thinks a lot of herself, doesn't she? You can see it in her eyes and how she carries herself.
3. The song wasn't the worst thing I've ever heard, mainly some chick begging for attention, which is pretty standard (no offense ladies). However, was she saying that she might try to hook up with other guys to make her "boyfriend" wake up and give her attention? If so, yeah, that's crap. I mean, that's teenager mentality. (Of course, there's a 99.99999% chance that she didn't write the song, but still...)

Caught it on TBS )or something) the other day.

I watched it with your view in mind.

I agree.

Furthermore, in the brief time we saw the parents in the beginning, they all just wanted their kids to do well, to not screw up, and have bright futures.

What pricks.

Is it no-win between parents and their kids?

As a young Philip J. Fry said when he was 12, "Ah, my Breakfast Club soundtrack. I can't wait until I'm old enough to feel ways about stuff."

IIRC, not all of them, one (or maybe two) of them were pretty non-caring one way or the other about what their kids did or did not do.

Well, Bender had it rough, but the rest... even Ally Sheedy's family had money, They probably didn't understand the emo thing she had going. Way ahead of her time.

Ally Sheedy's parents don't say anything in the intro.
Bender's dad only wanted him to succeed at one thing.
Molly Ringwald's dad didn't care about her, so much as getting back at mom.
Geek's mom only wanted him to study all the freaking time.
We never see the other guy's parents.
