Definitely SHOULD have gone with Steve over Percy. 1 Catch, 2 rushing yards. -7.0 from his projected.

Andrew and Carolina Steve are my 1 and 2s, hopefully they can help carry the load.

I started Nicks today, so I feel your quandary.

So far it's working out.

Never let personal bias get in the way of your fantasy football starts. Plenty of times I've benefited from folk lighting up the Vikes.

For at least one drive... Michael Vick is making it look like he never left.

Regardless of who else I started, Peyton Manning was my starting quarterback. He has an epic outing, despite losing. 433 yards, 3 TD.

If Cooley can score 4 points tonight, i'll win despite half my team not even playing until tomorrow.

I'm down 40 goddamn points because I played Chris Johnson's ass & had Ochocinco benched. Still got the Rice Burner & Phil Rivers versus his 40 points + SD kicker. Just need it to be a slugfest.

Why would you bench Ochocinco against NE's shoddy D?

So... the Redskins still don't have a consistent O, but the D pretty much held - and the Boys' O-line suckkkkkkks.

I was expecting his results & Owens's to be swapped. Not going to be fun if they go sinusoidal this season. Barber tanked on me, though.

Troy wrote:I was kind of happy to see that Jake did well on his first drive with the the Browns. Even if it was the preaseason, and didn't mean anything, now that he is off my team I wish nothing but the best for him and whatever team he plays on.
The turnover-plagued Delhomme wound up throwing two interceptions in Cleveland's 17-14 loss at Tampa Bay, a game the Browns once seemed comfortably in command of, at 14-3. Not a good development for Mike Holmgren's rebuilding program in Cleveland. If the Browns can't defeat the Bucs, who can they be expected to handle? And if Delhomme keeps throwing two picks a game, my prediction of Seneca Wallace as the team's starting QB by October has a great shot of coming true.

Yep. Still the same.

Delhomme's career is pretty much done. Just call him Tommy Maddox II.

This is nothing against Browns fans at all, but at this point I sort of want their bad luck streak to keep going. It's fascinating to watch an entire city have nothing but bad breaks in sports.

On a totally different note, my fantasy team sucks:
QB
-Aaron Rodgers - Bad week, but he'll be my best player, by far.
-Kyle Orton - Not looking like a bad backup...
RB
-Shownn (or whatever retarded way it's spelled) Green just got dumped as the sole starter.
-LeSean McCoy sucked in week 1 as did that whole offense.
-Clinton Portis - I'm hoping Shanahan lights his fire again.
-Chester Taylor - This one pisses me off the most. I grabbed him because rumors were swirling that he could take Forte's job. I had Forte last year and he sucked. Week 1 this year the asshole goes out and has a monster game. Fuck.
-Larry Johnson - I handcuffed Portis because someone else took LT and Phily has no real #2.

WR
-Donald Driver - See Aaron Rodgers above.
-Robert Meachum - Too many weapons in NO.
-Mike Wallace - He'll be a lot more valuable when Ben comes back.
-Brian Hartline - The #2 in Miami who got 0 points this week.
-Mohamed Massaquoi - A late round grab and as a #1 I look at him as a potential steal or good bye week fill in.

K
David Akers - A kicker is a kicker.

Def
Jets - This looked great until half their starters went out injured, their offense proved it can't move the ball, and they started talking shit to the rest of the league.

To save myself I made the following moves today:
-Dumped Chester Taylor, Larry Johnson, and Brian Hartline.
-I grabbed Austin Collie and Legedu Naanee.
-Later I saw the reports of Ryan Grant being done for the year and picked up his backup Brandon Jackson before the team that owned Grant could get him. I suspect they'll grab Chester Taylor.

My lineup looks a lot better immediately, but I have a hunch I'll finish middle of the pack this year.

The Panthers' season is over.
The Jimmy Clausen(notes) era is under way in Carolina, ahead of schedule.

Panthers coach John Fox said Monday he’s benching the struggling Matt Moore(notes) and will start the rookie from Notre Dame on Sunday against Cincinnati.

Moore has had two miserable weeks. He threw three end zone interceptions and lost a fumble before leaving with a concussion in a Week 1 loss to the New York Giants. After being cleared to return Sunday, Moore threw an interception and lost another fumble before getting yanked early in the fourth quarter in a 20-7 loss to Tampa Bay.

Moore has led Carolina on only two touchdown drivers, completed just 41 percent of his passes and has a passer rating of 41.8.

Clausen is 7 of 15 for 59 yards and one interception in two brief stints.

They'll fire Fox, but the front office in Carolina is the real problem.

Miami has been getting better since Parcels arrived. They're just not getting any press because they're in the same division as the Patriots and the Jets.

Minnesota is a mess, but I think they're going to end up as a dangerous wild card team. They need Rice back in a big way.

Anyone else enjoying Dallas' start as much as me?

Yes. Although it kinda makes the Skins win against them less valuable. On the other hand, maybe we can do better than 8-8.

Looking forward to Atlanta versus NO.
