I mostly support this one, since they focused generally on regional and smaller banks, rather than on the large ones, and didn't take away much of Dodd / Frank.

I feel like if China charges at 15% tariff on our autos, we should charge the same back. Apparently we charge 2.5%?

Ellinghorst did add that cars being shipped from the U.S. into Europe faced a 10 percent import duty while European cars into the U.S. faced a 2.5 percent import duty.

Not a bad letter, but not great. Not sure he should have referenced God given the differences in culture. I do like that he's being humble to someone who needs that sort of treatment.

I think it was written for a certain audience, and thus, could easily fit your "written by a 10 year old" criteria.

Although, both parties involved act like spoiled 10 year olds, so...

Oh, completely agree, but end of the day, you can simplify most disputes to such childish levels.

He's basically telling him that if he wants this meeting and these concessions he needs to stop talking shit. Pretty dumb to cancel a historic meeting and not express this in person, but I get the sentiment.
