I just pulled a double double kind of thing. Worked from Wednesday morning till this morning with two 2 hour naps thrown in. Too busy and sore to stay in touch. Still recovering today, but will be on tonight. Should be available Saturday night too.

If we want to get any better, we have to TRY to get better. In practice as it is right now, we only play ranked games. We don't try new strats, we don't go into games with an objectives in mind. We have to change that. For us to get better, we must PRACTICE better. That means we try new things in practice, not just play ranked games against Gold and Silver ELO players. We should all step back for a second and evaluate what we want out of this team. If we want Bronze, silver, gold, plat, diamond, challenger, and then start PRACTICING to BE that level. We have to not only want it, we have to try for it.

My availability:
VERY limited for a while.
Sun - Available
Mon - Available
Tue-Sun - Not available
Mon - Thu - Not available
Fri - Not available
Sat-Fri - Available
So, ya, for like a week and a half, I'm not available. If anything in the schedule changes, I'll be available. But I don't anticipate that.
Feel free to recruit another player, play with Theo, Venerable, etc. But you will probably all miss me too much. It will be too much of a painful reminder of my absence to play without me. Which is fine too.

Something about, "I hate people who don't play because of their work schedules" or however it went.

I agree with that, however I would argue that we also NEED to win the promotion series we've been fighting for. We have a system in place, and provided we don't get setup against gold and silver players, we will win the games with our current roles/setups/strategy.
So let's practice, but let's not ignore where we are in the standings. I think we need to work on the promotion now before we lose Cake for a while, and then work on new strategies.

Right? Sadly, the game is fun as hell, but it IS a competition. Same thing as playing any sport.

See, the difference is:
I'm off because I'm AT work. You people are off because you have to work some time in the future or because you worked some time in the past.
Gordon: "I had to leave the house today and I'm all tuckered out. I'm going to bed early."
Gordon: "I have to get up in the morning, like everyone else that's playing, because of work. I have to get my rest so I'm not tuckered out for work."
Leisher: "I have to talk to people tomorrow. I'll need to get to bed early cause my vagina is making me."
Me: "I've been up for 27 hours straight and have another 17 hours of work for tomorrow. I only have time for a few games."
Me: "I started working at 3am this morning and worked until 3pm. I have to go back to work tonight at 3am. But, I took a 2 hour nap and made sure I was awake by 9:30 so I could play."
So, ya. People that don't play because of work disgust me. Because it's different than people who are AT work.

If this was a game where we could just switch to the winning team in the middle of a fight, it might be more fun so that we could win all the time.

Since Team Speak showed up now I never know where to look for people to see if they are online. Some people get in Steam, and some people just get in game but don't bother with steam, and then people have to go into different platforms and message people a fuck you all I hate you.

I get into game and Steam. I don't jump into Team Voice just yet.
BTW, status isn't the best indicator if someone is there or not. Steam and LoL will put you into Away status if you don't move your mouse after x amount of minutes.
When I log in nightly, if nobody is on, I'll sit back, watch TV, and play games on a tablet or my phone.
Can't hurt to message me and see if I'm there.

After trouncing the other team when we jumped into a game as a duo, Leisher and I decided that we really shine when the enemy team is not organized and not very good.
It is the skilled teams that are our Achilles' heel.

If only LoL had the equivalent of a crazy old John Madden commentator to spout such lines.
