It's good advice for anyone to sometimes step away, hit the pub, and have a couple drinks.

Stepping away. This is picking up steam and with the way things are right now it is not a mistake.

It would be a hell of a US intelligence failure if we failed to notice china gearing up for an amphib assault on Taiwan.

If I lived in San Fran I'd make a project out of having a cocktail in each and every small pub within the city limits.

Man I said some crazy stuff after 40 hours no sleep. Will see what the rest of this nonsense looks like tomorrow.

Are Russian citizens allowed to own guns? Just curious. There's a rumor Russia is declaring martial law in a couple days.
Well, this is like a post-soviet civil war. And Ukrainians have hella guns.
The Sheriff calls us outlaws, but I say we are free. And one free man defending his home is more powerful than ten hired soldiers.

Happily back to working my real job today after like 10 hours sleep. It is not important to figure everything out right now. It's awful. Just have to let it unfold.

It's always important to remember and internalize that no matter how much you stress, no matter how much you care, you're not going to change anything on the world stage. And in that light, be zen about it. What happens, happens, and just make sure you're in a good position, mentally and physically, to roll with the changes.

Kind of amazing how Russia went from a meh-successful oligarchy, to pariah nation, in 7 days.

Shelling a nuclear power plant is an interesting strategy when your ultimate goal is to occupy the land or have it ruled by people loyal to you.

I guess that isn't the goal.
I can't see how EU or the rest of Asia would let them do shit like that with impunity.
