She's pretty hot now. Glad she was able to get past the negativity.

That being said, that's a bullshit puff piece, and none of it addresses what she really was taking heat for at the time.

She was an upper class kid given every opportunity. How many middle school kids have parents wealthy enough to hire a company to write their kid a song and then film a video of it?

That also got her the wrath of people sick and tired of "created stars" like N Sync, Justin Bieber, and so on.

Did she deserve all she got? No. Was it all just trolls bashing a bad song? No.
