If he means "PATriots", I'm all for it.

Nobody is under more fire than the kickers. I'll bet the ultimate goal is to eliminate them.

Horrible idea considering how many games are won and lost based on field goals.

Brady to Bellichick. Heh.
Then again, maybe we do know. I'll never say it publicly, but it was pretty obvious to me the Denver Broncos are a better football team than we are. They have more weapons than we do.

Hell, everyone does!!

An article on the Browns' new coach.

It's kind of a must read to really get a look at why they're the Cleveland Browns.

Steelers get an O-Line Coach

Sounds like quite an upgrade.

Yeah, the "experts" are really high on this move. They also expect the Steelers to go very heavy on defense in the draft. The current first round prediction is Notre Dame's nosetackle. He's the best in the draft, and apparently, the Steelers are high on him.

I expect they'll also grab a fast receiver.

In different news, Fox Sports is reporting that the NFL is prepared to postpone the Super Bowl until Monday if bad weather hits. Now I'm hoping for bad weather so the NFL can enjoy the backlash from millions of fans who organized Super Bowl parties.

I can't figure out how baseball and football don't get their execs together and say, "If you want to play in the ice, wind, and snow during the regular season, fucking fine, we don't care, freeze to death. But by goddamn we have a schedule to keep in the postseason and if you want to see a playoff game in your stadium it'd better have a fucking dome or some historically clement weather, assholes."

If it snows, YOU PLAY IN THE SNOW.

If it's a heavy snow game, I might actually watch my first Superbowl.

Coby Fleener:
The September trade that sent Trent Richardson from Cleveland to Indianapolis for a 2014 first-round draft pick was supposed to serve as a final piece of the puzzle for a young Colts team bursting with promise ...

"I still think it was a great trade for us," Fleener told Around The League on Friday. "Our front office has done an awesome job putting together teams from Day One. I think that acquisition is going to be huge for us and pay dividends in the future."

Rams moving?

That was the worst Super Bowl I've ever experienced.

Zero excitement. Even the commercials were all shit.

The only decent one was the Doritos Time Machine commercial.

I liked the Radio Shack 80s one. I gave up on the game and commercials at half time.

Suck. But that's why you hedge your bets and go to a party. Imbibe and have a good time.

That was one TD away from being the worst Super Bowl of all-time. Even with that, it's still top 3 worst.

I had to check, double- and triple-check the following:

1) It was Peyton and not Eli. Confirmed with a shot of Eli sitting in the stands.

2) It was Peyton and not Tebow throwing right-handed.

3) It wasn't the Buffalo Bills of the early '90s trying for one last shot at glory.

Best commercial I saw was the Full House one.

Full House? Really?

And the Broncos simply sucked. They looked like they weren't even trying. Receivers weren't running their routes well or even at top speed. The defense couldn't wrap anyone up. Peyton had good numbers, but if he called the offense, he was terrible. The middle of the Seahawks defense was vulnerable the entire game. Why did they keep trying to throw out routes? Why on 4th and 2 when you're at the right hash, would you try and throw a 5 yard out to the left sideline? "We need two yards, so let's throw a 30 yard pass!"

Simply horrible.

That all being said, people who are putting the blame on Manning are fucking retards. One interception was his fault. The other was his line's fault. He didn't snap that ball when he wasn't there either. I thought his team completely let him down.

While i wouldn't put the fault on Manning, they got beat in all three phases. i would certainly say that Payton didn't look at all the same.

Usually i watch Manning and he's up at the line of scrimmage pointing out the defense, giving hard snap counts, changing play calls, saying "Omaha"... but really, he didn't do any of that shit last night. He would walk up to the line and the snap was in his hands. It was like after that first snap of the game they went away from that and just went with a simple gameplan.

I think Manning should have tried to pick apart that defense better than he did last night.

I bet Peyton wishes he had taken your advice.

My wife was sick, we were going nowhere. And besides, go to do some Rust.
