The good news is that our biggest trade partner is Canada in these metals. So the impact will be mitigated somewhat. Also, Trump's showing flexibility in terms of removing countries, so it may just be a bludgeon to get some other stuff done with allies.

I've seen quite a few "WTF?" headlines on various liberal leaning sites. It's a positive "WTF?" though, more of a confusion that this president might pull off something no other president has been able to do. Let's be honest about this, if Trump and Kim Jong Un actually have a productive meeting, and this somehow gets North Korea into the world's good graces, Trump's legacy is set. People can, justifiably, bash him on other things, but his supporters will be able to say "He brought peace to the Korean Peninsula, saved millions of lives, and potentially millions more."

Of course, if ever there was a time when a Hollywood movie could become reality, this meeting seems perfect for that doesn't it?

My expectations are super low. Every time he does a big showy thing, there are almost zero results.

Calling it now, someone will say, "Only Trump can go to North Korea."

Job growth is stronger than expected. Wages not so much.

I wonder if these jobs are different from the temp and government work the previous admin used to pad their employment numbers. I hope so, but the lack of wage growth makes me wonder.
