Allen clearly made that first down. It's hard to silence the #rigged people when the officials blow a call even with the help of instant replay.

Also, that was an incomplete pass. You can see the ball clearly hit the ground and then move...a lot.

Go Eagles I guess.

Team owner Rooney wants Pickens "to grow".

Listen, he's not wrong, but Steeler fans wants Rooney to grow as well. Loads of owners fire coaches for stupid shit and do so far too often. However, if you're unable to see the issues in your own organization, particularly when fans and pundits are pointing it all out, you're not a good owner. The defense is the highest paid in the league, yet they suck. Your HC hasn't won a playoff game since the discovery of America. Your HC hasn't hired a single staff member that another team hired away. Your HC is a defensive specialist and that side of the ball sucks, which is saying something when you have a makeshift O line, 1 WR, and Father Time is your QB. Not having losing seasons does not suck, but without playoff success it doesn't mean anything. Well, apart from midround draft picks, which means your team doesn't get the cream of the crop to improve. It's stagnant. Both the HC and the organization could do with a fresh start.

Consider the dead horse beaten.

Are we certain the NFL isn't rigged?

BTW, IF it was, they're doing exactly what I would be doing. Give the Chiefs the threepeat for the story and because of all the Swifties watching. Kelce will probably retire next year and then you can let Buffalo or Lamar get over the hump. Your hope is that you turned any percentage of Swifties into NFL fans.

Oh no...looks like Justin Tucker has a lot in common with Deshaun Watson.

I don't know why people do things like that, or why they don't get in trouble earlier.

Call me crazy, but I prefer my sexual partners to be willing.

For athletes at this level, I genuinely think it's a result of never being told no, always being treated like you're something special, etc. and more than likely parental influence or lack of it.

Pretty sure? But spots are wrong on LOTS of plays. It used to drive me crazy, but then I just decided to let go.

I was wondering if someone did the same look at all of the Cheif's spots, how many would be off. How many are off in other games. That being said, them spotting a 2nd and 6 instead of 2nd and 5 is way different than first down, 4th and 1. Not all 'yards' are equal.

Also, has any ref ever come forward with a 'yes, it's rigged' story? To keep all of them quiet would be tough. But, I guess they manage to do it with all of the airport personnel and chem trails, so it's possible.

During the national championship game, early in the first, ND was given a first down with no replay or anything and the guy was stopped a yard and a half behind the yellow line. It was a one on one tackle too, so the ball was clearly visible. I just thought, "The yellow line is not official."

Only in the NBA, and the NBA spun it by labeling him a "rogue official". But the NBA being rigged (not scripted, but they absolutely massage games and other league business for the results they want) is a long time "worst kept secret". It might not be as bad as before, but it certainly was under David Stern.
