Steam is have a great deal on Total War games. Rome, Medieval, and Empire. You can get the latest Empire for about $14 or all 3 of the games and their expansions for around $30.

Trine is $5 this week.
I honestly don't think I had ever heard of it, but it's metascore is 80, so I bought it.
These Steam sales are fantastic. They're getting me to give chances to titles I'd never buy normally, and they're doing so at a price I wouldn't find in any brick and mortar. It's also a great chance to play titles you might have missed like the Far Cry deal a week or so ago.

I'm not grabbing it either. For all I know if I entered my original SS code into Steam, I might be given the update for free.
Being that it's already 50% off of 50% off, it can't be selling well.
Plus, I already have far too many games waiting to be played, and more waiting to be purchased. I don't have time to trek through a game I've already beaten multiple times.
I forget, why are you pissed at them? Besides because SS2 was such a piece of shit...

Basically SS2. It was seriously unfinished at release, and though it was PROBABLY fixed, it still screwed up our multi games when we couldn't even password protect a game.
Add to that the coateam forum admins being dicks about all constructive criticism, they alienated me, and I'm not giving them any more money.

For some reason the sale ended earlier than it was suppose to. It had been 50% off for the last few days.

Steam just went live on Macs. To "celebrate" Portal is FREE until May 24th. I highly recommend that if you have never played it, you go grab Steam and download Portal.
Another big steam sale is starting today and going until the 29th with stuff changing each day.
They are also selling game is large numbers so you can give to friends. 10 copies of Half-Life 2 for $20, 6 copies of Borderlands for $40, Deus Ex and R.U.S.E. are have group deals.
Then a bunch of individual games for sale also.
