I'd like to see airdrops of supplies into a besieged Kiev, ala the Berlin Airlifts.
"Dare ya to shoot at us."

That "40 mile Russian convoy" has been " near the capital" for like 5 days. In hostile territory. Against drones and tons of combined arms resistance. I'm SURE they will invade any second now. Sure. And not all drop dead from exhaustion and hunger.

Stocks have lost their optimism. 10 year yield down to 1.685% (yay for mortgage rates), despite being over 2% just 2 weeks ago. Oil's above $105.

It is pretty funny that they did an invasion without having logistical support in place, but then when they tried the logistical support they don't have the logistical support to sustain it. "Hey, truck in front has a flat tire. Which flatbed in this convoy has the spare tires?"

I kind of hope at the end we get some interviews with the russian generals. "Yeah, that was some keystone cops-level shit we did. But we did it on purpose because putin's a nutball."

I'm guessing they're just horribly out of practice. Or still embarrassed about Afghanistan.

i have a feeling American generals are studying this shit and thinking, "God damn." American officers never stop going to war school, if they stay in. Even the romans knew about supply lines.

Interestingly, frackers do not agree and say they have no money to invest in building production.

Catt's favorite "my right to extort you for money trumps your right to privacy" teenager takes aim at Putin and rich Russians.
That's a fine way to die.

UN issues piece of paper
The vote was 141 to 5, with 35 abstentions. It came after the 193-member assembly convened its first emergency session since 1997.
....
Countries that spoke up for Russia in the assembly included Belarus, Cuba, North Korea and Syria.

Are Russian citizens allowed to own guns? Just curious. There's a rumor Russia is declaring martial law in a couple days.

My point being to wonder how Russian citizens will react to martial law. I feel like if they were armed as much as america is, Putin wouldn't try it.
