Here's to hoping the Saints run over the Falcons like Rainey did last week and skip the passing game to Jimmy Graham. Mofo playing me in PPR this week somehow has Gates and Jimmy going against me.

They're kicking a FG? What the fuck, man? 2:24 to go, you're down 3, you go for a 50-something yarder and pray you bottle up the Saints and get the ball back for another chip shot? Any testicles on the Falcons have just receded.

So, in my league, I offered Andre Johnson for the KC Chiefs (#1 defense). I have the Broncos D. They did great in the past, but their up-tempo simple has meant too many points/possessions for both sides this year.

The league vetoed the trade. "I've never seen a top 10 WR traded for a D before" was one genius' comment. I have 4 top 25 WRs on my team, and 3 top 18 RBs now. I'm overloaded in those positions. I only lose a few points on the season by getting ride of AJ (who has mostly sucked except 2 weeks anyways, and is 32 years old in a keeper league), but KC has score 60 more points than my D/best available D.

Grrrrrrrrr.

Meanwhile, someone offered Steve Jackson for Fred Jackson, and no one bats any eye at it.

Forked over Welker for Andre because I expect Keenum to lean on him like a mofo in the coming weeks. The only time a trade deserves the veto is if some asshole is plainly taking advantage of a newbie. Other than that, who gives a fuck? Try the trade again with a crappier WR you get off waivers. As for Jackson and Jackson ... eh, I'd prefer Fred right now, but just barely.

Checklist of how fucked my team is today...

QB-WR combo bust? Check. Keenum and Andre did nothing.
AP and Jimmy Graham putting up more points than my team thus far? Check. Those two dudes alone have 41 points.
WR1 that consistently gets double digit games all year getting upstaged by WR3? Check. Jacoby Jones caught the bomb and Torrey Smith did nothing.

The only bright spot was Woodhead. Chris Johnson, Gronk, Rueben Randle, and the Oakland D all need career games or I'm probably not getting my bye. FUCK.

Both of my teams got rocked. I have an outside shot of winning in the family/friend league, but at least Stranger lost big too.

We play next week for the division crown.

And people wonder why I wanted to dump Andre Johnson.

They were playing fucking Jacksonville. It wasn't just Andre that sucked.

And who called the Flynn move? Dead on.

He came in today and looked brilliant.

Gronk needs to outscore RG3 by a shade over 15 points. That's not impossible considering Washington's going against Frisco and the Pats visit Denver. Swapping in Burleson for any of my WRs would've gone a big way towards helping that.

EDIT: 11 of those are due to a single reception from Jimmy Graham on Thursday.

Did Denver get a real D or are the Pats just that bad on pass protection?

Holy shit. I'm still up by 1.6 points. I'm fully expecting one solid RG3 play will fuck me over.

Rodger-less Packers throw down the gauntlet.

Hey, Stranger, now the fans will know whose name to chant when Weeden gives away three turnovers by the first half.

I still can't believe you had enough women in your league veto the trade.
