Hah. Already got a bite. Rainey for Torrey Smith. Unless he retracts or I get a better offer, I think that's the w1nn3r.

EDIT: I'm feeling like a bastard. Counteroffer Woodhead and Rainey for AP. Let's see how desperate he is.

Last week the #2 ranked team lost Mike James. He grabbed Leonard to replace him, while I grabbed Rainey on a whim.

Now I've got someone to start next week when Lynch is off and he's got no #2 RB.

Ah, Shady.

Dude is seriously considering the Woodhead + Rainey for AP offer. Holy fuck. I'd need Roddy White to start playing consistent or it's going to be Rueben Randle until Marvin Jones (meaning Andy Dalton) gets it together.

400 pound high school RB.

They tout his agility, I must have missed that part of the video. Seems like he's just big and guys who try to improperly tackle him high bounce off. Meanwhile, anyone that goes after his legs gets him down immediately.

I hope McCoy gets arrested for that.

So, he plays what, once every series then rests a few downs to catch his breath?

Welker concussed. Goddamnit.

Already thinking ahead to next year:

Would like 4 clear cut, cheap keepers. So far:
Wilson, Gronk, Lynch. Do I make Lev Bell the 4th or try to trade Woodhead + Welker for a cheap, young WR on the rise?

Don't want to keep Welker because there are too many targets in Denver and Manning's not getting younger. Once he's gone, that place will have a fire sale. Woodhead ... eh, maybe. He's got more upside than Bell. I'd rather trade him for with his $1 price tag now than throw him to the wolves next year.

Pretty much no one wants to touch Welker due to the concussion. Did get Torrey Smith for Rainey, though. Question is now Roddy White or Nate Burleson for flex in PPR. I expect Rainey to carry on the proud tradition of 2013 Tampa Bay RBs and go down with a season-ending injury in a couple weeks.

Lev Bell + Welker for Chris Johnson + Andre Johnson. Really going to have to think about it. Trade is from the dude dead last in the league.

- Gives the other dude an excuse to cut two high-priced vets he's not going to keep next year (nor do I want to).
- Makes my 4 keepers easy for next year.
- Lets me keep 3 starter RBs.
- I like Andre better than Welker as long as Keenum's in.
- When Manning's gone, Welker's value probably drops.
- I'm not paying $15 for for him when I can pay $26 total for 4 quality keepers. The cash I save on keeper RBs next year means more cash to spend on decent WRs.

1) At least they can play for draft picks, unlike the Redskins who traded all theirs away
2) How else will MN find another QB to that will underperform?

Our usual sources are:

1. shitty drafting for relatively cheap salaries (Ponder, T-Jack)
2. fallen QBs from other teams for modest salaries (Rosenthal, Cassel, Freeman)
3. overpriced free agents past their prime for high salaries (McNabb, Favre)

PPR league playoff run team:

Already clinched a spot in the postseason. Only question is if I get one of the top two records and get a first round bye.

QBs: Wilson and Keenum
RBs: C Johnson (going to grab Greene for handcuff), Woodhead, Lynch (got Turbin for handcuff)
WRs: Torrey Smith, Andre Johnson, Roddy White, Nate Burleson, Robert Woods (going to try and swap him for Steve Smith on waivers tomorrow)
TEs: Gronk, Owen Daniels
D: Bengals

Early indications are moving towards a repeat of the championship game two years ago between me and the motherfucker that started Vick back then.

So, I gave up in my league this year, since I was 4-6... but then I won... and at 5-6, I'm in a 5-way tie for 6th place, cutoff for top tier of playoffs.

I'm playing another 5-6 team this week, so that will go a long way towards deciding, but I'm out of the running for top draft picks now.
