Hmmm, I think you would still accept that. I didn't ask for enough.

This is my favorite sports post today. It's so uninformed, and so correct.

You did not.
Next year is going to be interesting for me as a fan.
Do I still even watch college anymore? That depends on the NCAA and how they treat the cheaters.
Does Ryan Day win the national title? If not, is Mike Vrabel heading to OSU?
Does Tomlin walk away (or get nudged to do so) if the Steelers don't win a post season game? Does that open the door for Belichick to do a stint?

Commanders hire Quinn.
All jobs are now filled leaving Vrabel and Belichick unemployed.

I feel like if you have a customer lose $20M to you, you have some responsibility to be like "Hmm, where did a mid-level manager get $20M to gamble with?"

They don't know what their customers do for a living or their financial situation and it's not their business. Why would they be responsible for catching this guy, but the fucking Jaguars are not??? If the guy bought $20M in stocks that all went bust is that Wall St's fault?
"Sorry, you can't gamble on today's games because we need to get proof that you really did inherit or win this money in the lottery."
Pass a law that has them setup a flag system if an account suddenly gets a large infusion of money and/or starts changing the size of their bets dramatically. Make it publicly known to consumers that the feds will come calling. That's your best bet for preventing this in the future.
But even in that case, I think whomever the company is that allows the theft, they should have to pay some fee to the gambling company. Call it an offset for costs incurred or a "thanks for doing our job for us".
Commanders find an OC?

Sources with knowledge of the case told ESPN that Patel lost about $20 million of the funds on daily fantasy and sports bets at FanDuel, which had assigned him a VIP host.
...
It's not clear what recourse the Jaguars might have to recoup the losses. Under federal law, FanDuel has an obligation to make sure funds used for sports betting were legally obtained, but the regulations are murkier for daily fantasy.
"Gambling sites have a duty to perform 'Anti-Money Laundering' and 'Know Your Client' procedures to ensure they do not onboard funds of an illicit origin," said Stephen Bell, an attorney who practices in white-collar criminal cases. "Where the size of a customer's bets far outweighs their income, red flags are present and should require additional due diligence to confirm the funds are clean."
This. The law already exists.

I still strongly disagree. None of the betting apps know how much I make and it's none of their fucking business. If my bets start showing unusual patterns, then fine, look into that.
And why would the regulations be murkier for daily fantasy? Apply the same fucking rules.

LeVeon Bell wants to comeback and only to the Steelers.
We're pretty set at RB right now. He'd better be hella impressive to find a spot behind Harris and Warren.
Mahomes' dad is a POS.
Belichick finally lands a job...Steve Belichick that is.
Mayo wanted him to stay with the Pats and he instead left to go to a college for the same job. That's a message.

I love this mock.
The Steelers taking a tackle and a center in the first two rounds? Sign me up.
Also, he has the Bears trading Fields, and I think the Steelers could be players there. He fits perfectly into an Arthur Smith offense. BUT your GOAT is probably going to be the obstacle for that because he is responsible for the Picket selection.
I've heard Tomlin is leaning towards keeping Mitch Trubisky, which is impossible to justify unless it's being done by a coach who wants Picket to win the starting job. I've also heard that perhaps Smith brings in Tannehill and there's a rumor that the Steelers might be targeting Bo Nix.
No word on Rudolph who proved the be the best of the three.
To me, there's only two options:
1. Keep Rudolph and Picket and let them battle.
2. Keep Picket and trade for Fields and let them battle.

This will shock you Catt, but Tomlin didn't win CotY.
It'd just be too obvious if he won every year. Gotta give the white coaches a chance, too.
