These guys have historically been quite good about fact checking. It's likely they verified the details before producing the video.
EDIT: It's possible there's a cultural misunderstanding going on, I guess. That maybe the ominous things we see in such a system don't apply the same way in Chinese culture. But I doubt it.

Yes. Originally he pretended to do it all himself, but once busted they now have disclaimers that the dead animals he finds are planted, and he has help.
Many of his "remote" sites are just off the road. It's a lot of smoke and mirrors and I won't watch him.
