Rough day for the AFC North. Steelers had been the #2 AFC seed before that game

(Ravens #5, Browns #6)

Steelers are dogshit. I won't blame the D because they're bound to get tired when they're on the field the whole game.
If Tomlin doesn't fire Canada this week, it's yet more proof that he's the most overrated HC in NFL history. There's no excuse for having an offense this bad in 2023's NFL.
Cincy seems to suck outside of Burrow, so if he's not 100% they're trash.
As for Cleveland, I thought they could be legit last week, but as it turns out that was a mirage. They lost to Pittsburgh and just got trounced at home against a Raiders team missing 7 starters.
In other divisions, might as well mention Baker Mayfield's big day after just discussing Cleveland. Fields had a MONSTER day, but the Bears' D sucks. CJ Stroud is single-handedly ending the "OSU QB" narrative. Buffalo reminded Miami that its their division. Washington isn't as bad as they made us think last week. And who cares about Rams-Colts?

Going to lose Fantasy today. Picked the wrong Miami RB, and the wrong week to bench the Cowboys' D for the Eagles' D.

I'm going to drop to 2-2 in my main league. No idea what happened looking at it. All my players except my kicker did shit today. For example, I'm playing against Zak and late in that game they pull Pollard (my player) to protect him, but keep Dak in. WTF?
In the league that doesn't matter, I have the highest scoring team and will win easily for the first win of the year.
Fantasy is dumb.

Salah might be gutless. Your offense can't get one yard?
You are a huge dog. You have nothing to lose. FGs don't beat the Chiefs, especially not 55 yarders you miss.

I need 28 points from Geno Smith tomorrow night for my main team to win in fantasy. The other team already locked the win up.

Chase Claypool's Chicago career is over.
I still can't believe the Steelers got the #33 pick for that idiot.

I'm dumb. Just looked again and I need 18 points, which is exactly what he's projected to score. Only 2 of my guys hit or exceeded their projections this week though.

Pittsburgh's a total dumpster fire.
Despite hitting on long touchdown passes to George Pickens and Calvin Austin, Pickett was averaging just 6.6 yards per attempt before his injury. The key number to keep in mind here is success rate, which measures how often a quarterback keep his offense on schedule to score points. By the NFL Next Gen Stats model, Pickett has generated a 33.1% success rate on his dropbacks this season. Only Zach Wilson has been worse.
Pittsburgh offensive coordinator Matt Canada has never captured the imagination of the Pittsburgh fan base. It's difficult to identify this offense's strength on a week-to-week basis or how it strikes fear in opposing coordinators on tape. Canada was once known as a coordinator who specialized in using shifts and motion to create mismatches and beneficial leverage for his offense.
In a league in which coaches such as Mike McDaniel are breaking defensive rules and brains with motion, the Steelers are not part of the vanguard. When a receiver is moving at the snap, Pickett is 4 of 10 for minus-4 yards and a QBR of 2.8. That's not a typo. Only Jimmy Garoppolo is worse. Pickett has been league average when a receiver goes in motion and then comes to a stop before the snap, which is good, but the Steelers don't run shifts at a particularly notable rate. Just 22% of his pass attempts have come on the run -- one of the larger rates in football -- but he ranks 22nd in expected points added (EPA) per play on those throws.

Fair. I'd argue it's also far less damaging than girl math.
"I bought a shirt for $180, but I'm returning it to get one that costs $200. Thus, I'm only spending $20 for that better shirt!"

Who won the game for them until their idiot HC decided to go for it on 4th and 1 with a minute left and got stopped. That gave their opponent great field position. He, a defensive minded coach, didn't trust his defense which has gotten worse since he arrived. He will be gone soon.

People are getting mad at all the Taylor Swift football coverage, but NBC people know ratings matter, and Swifties will show up. I assume the pendulum will move back some, but the terrible game 2 weeks ago had massive ratings once people found out Taylor Swift was at the game.
You know who watched part of Sunday Night Football for the first time ever? My 12 year old daughter.
I don't blame NBC or the NFL at all for leaning into this.
