Forcing folks to pay tens of thousands of dollars is beyond hazing. I think that's criminal.

Why Sean Taylor died.
One of the men charged in the slaying, 25-year-old Jason Mitchell, attended a birthday party a few weeks earlier at the house for Taylor's half-sister, Sasha Johnson -- who lived in Fort Myers and knew Rivera. She testified that Taylor gave her a purse containing $10,000 in cash at the party, which was witnessed by all the guests.

Miami paper has Incognito on the suspended list until season's end, at which point he gets booted from the Fins. Teammates supporting Incognito?
"He's a funny guy," [Cornerback Will] Davis said of Incognito. "Everybody loves him."
"I love Richie. I think he's a great guy. I don't think he was out of hand. I have a lot of respect for Richie. I wish he was here."

... says Mike Wallace. Just to repeat the voicemail...
"Hey, wassup, you half (expletive) piece of (expletive). I saw you on Twitter, you been training ten weeks. I'll (expletive) in you (expletive) mouth. I'm gonna slap your (expletive) mouth, I'm gonna slap your real mother across the face (laughter). (Expletive) you, you're still a rookie. I'll kill you."

Yeah. Hilarious. Sounds like Mike Tyson doing standup about fifteen years ago.

PPR league:
Due to Brandon Marshall and Mason Crosby falling just short for someone, I'm now the owner of the top league record.

12 team league...

# of 4-5 teams: 6
# of 5-4 teams: 3

The outliers? Someone pulling 1-8 in my div, me at 7-2, and the dude cursing Brandon Marshall at 6-3.

Our 12 team league is similar, 8 teams that are 5-4 or 4-5. 2 3-6 teams, then the outliers: 6-3 and 7-2. I'm no longer the worst team in the league!

The whole Incognito thing is weird. First of all, he's not the only player involved. Right now he's a scapegoat, but it's clear multiple players were harassing Martin. Secondly, Riley Cooper was drunk and screamed the n word at a security guy at a concert, and he was vilified by teammates. Incognito does it to a teammate in a malicious way, and it's not a big deal? WTF?

I know one thing, Miami has zero shot of winning shit until they clean out that locker room.

Both of my leagues are interesting this year.

In my work league, I'm ranked as the third best team overall, second in my division (by tiebreaker), and tied with two other teams with the best record at 6-3. There are 5 teams at 5-4. Only one team is 4-5, and they're last in my division making my division the toughest. Everyone else has 2-3 wins.

In my family/friends league, I'm tied with Stranger for our division lead at 7-2. Second place is at 5-4, and last place is 3 games back at 4-5. We are, by FAR, the best division. To contrast, there's one team at 1-8, and he's only 3 games back in his division... There are only two other teams in our entire league over .500 (one at 7-2 and one at 5-4), and they're in the third division together.

Coach compares NFL to school, players to children.
Philbin spoke Monday without notes for nearly five minutes, often forcefully. He compared the situation to sending his two children to school nearby.

"When they walk in those doors, I have a certain expectations," the coach said. "That the administration, the teachers, the staff are going to create a safe atmosphere where my children can learn and develop as people. And this is no different. I take this responsibility very seriously."

So... if you're the Packers, may as well grab Flynn, right?

You'd figure. Even a shitty QB that knows your system is a better bet than some untested dude who'll do Christ knows what.

Oh wait, we're not talking about Ponder, Freeman, or Cassel?

Based on what everyone else in the locker room is saying, I'm starting to think Incognito is the actual victim here.

The most damning thing is Hartline pointing out that Martin was playing that voicemail earlier this year and laughing about it.

Fucking Ricky Williams saying Martin should have done what Ricky did and just fail a few drug tests if he didn't want to play football anymore.

Other team-mates saying that Incognito was the first dude at Martin's side whenever shit went down on the field in games and practice.

This just boils down to an absolute disaster for the Dolphins, no winners, only losers.

Looks like Tampa's now the second shittiest locker room in Florida's NFL atmosphere. The Jags might be the happiest team in that state.

That was a nice Weeden-esque start by Ponder tonight.

Tell me again ... he's a better option than Cassel for the rest of the season, uh, why now?

Cuz Cassel's even worse?

MN's at least making Washington's O look good/helping my fantasy team. Morris for 8, Garcon for 12, and Reed for 10 so far.

Looks like the football gods want to find out. I don't think he is, either. Minnesota's QB situation just got more interesting.
