During the first half of the first set of games, yeah. But it kind of woke up during the second half.

Ponder:
230+ yards passing. 1 passing TD. That last throw of the game was fucking embarrassing. Couldn't even get it in the end zone with zero pressure and all kinds of time, against one of the worst passing defense in the NFL. If the Vikes are going to have a QB that can't throw, at least get Tebow; he's a better rusher.

In the event that both Colston and White were out before the claims processed, by emergency backup plan was Riley Cooper, currently lighting it up for 130 and 2 scores. Fucking late injury reports.

Panthers Defense best last pick I ever made.

With Schaub and Manual injured, and E manning on BYE, I had a choice between Campbell and Glennon. I figured I'd hate myself either way, and with Glennon going against Seattle's D, I'd go with Campbell.

So far, it's a wash:
Campbell 13
Glennon 12

And since the Redskins O has woken up, I haven't done too bad today: Morris for 18, Garcon for another 18. Shame that Young took away 3 TDs.

Man the Redskins nearly blew that game. 1 foot away from a loss. And two blocked FGs. WTF?

Ponder did OK. The fumble and the near fumble weren't great.

And wow, the Panthers just rolled over the Falcons today. woot!

139 and 3 scores. Foles has thrown four others. Holy fuck.

On the plus side, Gronk's doing good, Wilson's thrown and rushed for a score. A couple rushing TDs for Bell and Lynch would go a long way towards easing my paranoia. Hopkins and Richardson sucking wouldn't hurt either.

I almost started the Oakland D since they were playing Philly, as my typical starting D is on bye. So glad I picked up the Titans instead.

So... Schaub has sucked a nut for me. I don't care about Houston, but Case Keenum has revitalized Johnson tonight. 27 pts in our league tonight, equal to half of what he's got the rest of season combined.

Was considering swapping him out for Glennon since Houston plays Jacksonville during Wilson's bye. Wonder if I can get him cheap still.

Damn. Anyone else hear that? It was the sound of Schaub's starting career ending.

This week has been crazy.

In my work league I'm up 98.22 to 13.50. I'm done, and he has Eddy Lacy and Michael Bush to go. I'm feeling comfortable there.

In my friends and family league, I'm up 49-37 (the lowest scoring game in our league) with Vinatieri going, while he has Alshon Jefferies and the Packers D tomorrow.

Horrible game. I've got Peyton and Fitzgerald on byes, I just lost Blackmon for the season, I lost my 2nd RB for the season, so I've got McGahee starting. My WRs got me a total of 6 points (Nate Washington didn't get a single catch.)

Meanwhile, he started Alex Smith for 4 points, got 6 total from Rice and Ryan Matthews (my two RBs from the work league, hehe), got 3 from Hartline, and Keenan Allen blew up for 18 for him.

Just an embarrassing display from both teams.

Standard: Fucked.
Zac Stacy and Gio Bernard buried me.

PPR: was worried but am kicking arse.
Only player he had do shit was Marlon Brown, the dude I traded to him as an afterthought in the Great Ray Rice dumpoff that netted me Le'Veon Bell.

Wilson
Lynch
Woodhead
Bell
McClusterfuck (bust)
Jennings
Gronk

versus

Rodgers (still to play)
Ray Rice
DeMacro Murray
Trent Richardson
Marlon Brown
DeAndre Hopkins
Delanie Walker

Game over. To boot, I've got a 3-game div lead, managed to win my Welker-less week, Burleson comes back next week (and Stafford throws a shitload), and there's a chance I'll have best league record for at least a week. Last difficult week is 12, when Lynch and Wilson are on bye. Playing who'll probably be the main competition for div lead that week.

I wish I had dropped Rice. But my band of scrubs had a miracle week. 150 points.
Campbell, Morris, Garcon, and Johnson. 85 point lead going into tonight, and all he has is Bears' D.

And I finally took Marlon Brown out of the starting lineup after weeks of mediocritude. Bah.

4-5 baby!

Browns record with Weeden as a starter 0-4

Browns record with anyone else starting 4-1

There was a point in the game where Holti Ngata's 340 pound fat ass landed on Jason Campbell and he was out for a few plays. At the time all of Cleveland was in a panic because all you saw was Weeden taking snaps on the sideline. He then trots on the field and i hear nothing i've ever heard before on a football broadcast..

The very sight of Weeden elicited screams of horror louder than heard at a Halloween fright house. I swear to god, no boos like you would expect. Just the sheer high pitch screems of women, children and i'm sure grown ass men that couldn't hold back their terror. The camera shot then changes to some dog bone wielding bearded man that looked like a ghost had just ripped his balls off and fed them to him!

I myself was feeling the same way, but i couldn't help but laugh at what i had just heard and saw. It was pure comedy and horror at the same time.

Luckily Weeden was only in for 3 plays and finished with prolly his best stat line of the season 1 for 2 for -2 yards.

Weeden is a disaster. I look forward seeing him at the drive through car wash next year.

Vikings GM: Next year, QB talent, and winning. Name three things the Vikings don't give a fuck about.
"Leslie Frazier is not going anywhere," Spielman said Friday, per The Star Tribune. "I am telling you that we are very committed to Leslie Frazier and this coaching staff."

Vikings players question play calling.
Fuck you, Frazier. Have fun golfing with Schiano in the offseason so you two fucking idiots can argue over who knows less about running a successful NFL team.

Yeah, they'll have nothing to talk about.

Rookie hazing in Miami?
A source who is described as having direct knowledge of the situation told the Miami Herald that younger players on the Dolphins team are under pressure to pay for veterans’ social outings, likening them to personal ATMs.

The source said younger players – some of whom make around $400,000 a year – were handed the tab for a $30,000 team dinner. One defensive player whose privacy is being protected is on his way to becoming broke for not being able to say no to the older players’ demands, the source added.

NFL team = fraternity. Got it.

Probably does. I can even understand it during training camp or preseason. But during the regular season, I figure you'd want your football teammates to focus on, you know, playing fucking football. Some teams disagree.

Not a dinner tab.
"Hey, wassup, you half (expletive) piece of (expletive)," according to a transcript obtained by Breer of an Incognito voicemail to Martin. "I saw you on Twitter, you been training ten weeks. I'll (expletive) in you (expletive) mouth. I'm gonna slap your (expletive) mouth, I'm gonna slap your real mother across the face (laughter). (Expletive) you, you're still a rookie. I'll kill you."

That, along with other shit, has earned Incognito an indefinite team suspension.
