Sunday Tickets moves to a service people actually use

The deal cements YouTube, a division of Alphabet Inc.’s Youtube, as a rising force in streaming online and on television sets. The business, which began as a website serving user-generated clips with little curation, now also sells the cable bundles and prime sports programming that it once set out to supplant.
Sunday Ticket is a subscription-only package that allows customers access to all Sunday afternoon games for out-of-market teams. DirecTV currently pays the National Football League an average fee of $1.5 billion per season for both residential and commercial rights.
...YouTube will offer Sunday Ticket as an add-on to YouTube TV and in the video platform’s main app through a service called Primetime Channels that allows viewers to subscribe to individual channels.
“Technological and product innovation is one of the things that is particularly exciting about bringing this type of content,” said Neal Mohan, chief product officer at YouTube. “We’ll be able to showcase these NFL games in a way that I think no other platform can.”
Mr. Mohan declined to comment on pricing details. YouTube TV costs $64.99 per month before add-ons. DirecTV currently has a $300 per season version of Sunday Ticket and a $400 version that features extra NFL-related content.

I've been using the Eagles' + Cowboys' defenses all year. With them playing each other, I wasn't sure what to do, then Hurts got Hurt. Probably made sense to go with the Cowboys, but they've been porous lately. Decided to pick up the Jags since they were playing the awful Jets, and they picked up 14 points! So I've still got a chance for the upset win.

You know I listen to Simmons' pod and he's very connected to the Boston sports scene. There is apparently a lot of smoke regarding Kraft possibly moving on from Belicheck. Not saying it'll happen, but it is being discussed.
As Simmons and his guests discussed, Kraft is concerned about the current staff, the family members on the staff, that maybe the game has moved past Bill because he might not have the contacts he once had to find new coaches, that his team isn't as disciplined anymore, and so on. Belicheck also happens to be within striking distance of the all time coaching wins record, which makes this more interesting. If Belicheck gets the boot and you're a team that's loaded with talent, but your HC isn't getting the job done, does hiring Bill become a no brainer...provided he brings in some good assistants.
There are a number of teams I can think of whose HC situation is tenuous and if they can't get Sean Payton, kicking the tires on BB, might be a good gamble. Would Cleveland take him back? Everyone seems to think Denver will be looking for a new HC. Arizona, Carolina, TB, both LA teams, Washington, Houston, NO, and Dallas could all be in the market. Not all would be as appealing as others, but it's something to watch.

TB needs a decent HC, but that roster is a mess and Brady is leaving.
In all honesty a winning or .500 season at this point would not be good for the long term future of the franchise. Tomlin is never getting fired as long as the owner is far left and could never bring himself to part ways with a black man. Especially when they're the shining light of the league when it comes to diversity hires. Thus, Tomlin needs to have this bullshit and meaningless claim off of his resume so he can get proper focus on what's important. If Rooney was a good owner, he's not, he'd sit Tomlin down and tell him that he needs to go out and hire actual good assistants. He needs guys that actually make him feel threatened, not these old never-weres and guys no other team would hire. All the best HCs have staffs that are reassembled every year because their assts are always being hired away: Belicheck, Saban, Meyer, Payton, and so on. Meanwhile, look at someone like Jim Harbaugh whose team was struggling to do anything until he hired a fresh young OC and DC. All of a sudden they're good again. That takes nothing away from Jim because that's his job...
