So far my highest score (that I started), is the Broncos' D. Guess that's the one upside of the Redskins' game tonight. Suck.
Up by 12. With Jones in, I'd've been up 48.
And if I could ever bring myself to pull E Manning for Glennon, I'd be up on QB too.

Glennon's my backup QB specifically for his matchup at Detroit on Wilson's bye. That being said, I'd still take him over Eli any given week until I see the Giants zapped back to life.

It's a familiarity thing. I saw Glennon fuck up way too many times for NC State to trust him at this level.

Holy fuck, the Vikings should change their team name to the Republicans because neither has a fucking chance of winning anything noteworthy in the next decade.

Thoughts on 'Burgh v. Raiders ...
1) Liking Bell more, even though the run game was dead this week. He still got 5 catches for twenty-something yards, so maybe he's going to be more of a pass catcher.
2) Maybe now that Pryor set the QB rushing TD single play yardage record, ESPN will stop showing that fucking Falcons-Vikings game where Vick did the same thing for less yards.

Unless the Cowboys (who are 4-4, but just 1-4 outside of the division) can win a few in the second half, this has a legitimate chance to be the worst division in NFL history. The 2010 NFC West, with the first 7-9 division champion in history, had 25 total wins. Halfway through the season, this year's NFC East has 11.
Cowboys' remaining schedule
Sun 11/3 Minnesota 1:00 pm ET
Sun 11/10 @ New Orleans 8:30 pm ET
Sun 11/24 @ NY Giants 4:25 pm ET
Thu 11/28 Oakland 4:30 pm ET
Mon 12/9 @ Chicago 8:40 pm ET
Sun 12/15 Green Bay 4:25 pm ET
Sun 12/22 @ Washington 1:00 pm ET
Sun 12/29 Philadelphia 1:00 pm ET
That should be W L W W L L W W, for the awesome 9-7....

Nate Burleson gets free pizza for a year.
Brandon Meriweather may be the dumbest motherfucker in football ... this week.
“To be honest, you’ve just got to go low now,” Meriweather said, according to ESPN 980′s Chris Russell. “You gotta end people’s careers.
“You gotta tear people’s ACLs,” Meriweather continued. “Mess up people’s knees. You can’t him them high anymore. You’ve just got to go low.”

I was at the game where Meriweather got flagged and ban-hammered for.
Complete bullshit, and I agree with him. You cannot hit people any more without getting a flag. So if they say you can't hit high, go for their legs, tear their knees up.

You cannot hit people any more without getting a flag.
I'll agree that the defensive players are getting to the point where they can only tackle about 10% of the opposing player without getting some penalty yards. Yeah, it's bullshit and yeah, it's because when a team invests millions of dollars into a player, they don't want the chance that one bad hit cripples or ends a career ... but come the fuck on, it's football and the injuries will happen. On the other hand, if your star players get injured, then who's going to put up the big points?
While I might agree with Brandon, I sure as shit wouldn't put it the way he did.

Zac Stacy and Marshawn Lynch had to have switched uniforms.

That last set was fucking idiocy. As the announcers are saying ...
190+ yards rushing, 134 of it from the dude that just gashed your way to the red zone VERSUS 158 yards, 2 picks, and ZERO touchdowns from the perennial backup QB. Pop quiz, asshole: 4th and goal at your opponent's 1 and you've got one play left, you're down by five, what do you do? What do you DO!?!?!
Jeff Fisher and the Rams: Uh ... pass?

I had Lynch, Seattle's D and a 7 point lead going into the night. My opponent had Richardson. Had Richardson punched it in at the end, he would have gotten the TD and the yard he needed for another 10 yard bonus for 7 points total. My defense would have lost 3 points for giving up 10+ points and I would have lost.
When Stacy came back in on that 4th down I was assured victory.
Hooray for goal line stands!

I just secured at two game for division lead going into a Welker-less week and I'm still tied with that one asshole for top record in the league.
That one asshole:
Every single one of his starters is top ten except his kicker.
EDIT:
Had Richardson punched it in at the end...
Wtf they were thinking at the end putting him in instead of Stacy? I think he got the last carry on 3rd and they put their fate in the hands of Satan and gave it to Kellen on 4th.

*PHEW*
Just barely managed to stay 12th place, despite a 1 point win (yay for 2 tackles by my LB!)... 12 team league, 6 teams are 3-5, 3 teams are 4-4. So we're basically the NFC East of fantasy leagues.
My team is a miraculous 3-5 though: #1 in points against. #12 in points for. We've been outscored by 188 points.
My offense is a disaster:
Best QB - 16th in the league
Best RB - 11th in the league
Best WR - 12th in the league
Best TE - 7th in the league

In my work league I just scouted my opponent for this week and saw he was projected for 43 points. That made me curious who he had on bye...
All 6 bench players.
2 guys in his starting lineup
AND
2 guys are out with injury, both in the starting lineup and not on a bye.
He's the Taco of my work league.
Although, I just noticed he needs a QB... Time to sniff out a trade.
Update: Just offered him Brady and Mike James for Eddy Lacy.

He's a dumb-ass if he takes that.

He doesn't have a QB, and he needs a RB.
His projection actually goes up this week if he takes it...down 30 for the year though

Wow. Never would've thought this possible at season's beginning:
Someone's offered me Tom Brady for Danny Woodhead, straight up. Pretty sure I'm going to turn it down. If I can get him for cheap and get a WR for this week in the process, I might be up. Thin as hell at wideout this week.
Welker: bye
Roddy White: injury-ridden
Jennings: no QB
Marvin Jones: hardly consistent in spite of his blowup this past weekend
That leaves me starting Marques Colson and Dexter McClusterfuck this week, both averaging a shade under 10 points per game. Fuck me.
