Another air drop? I went for it... got killed by BuzzLightYear and someone else. Had one of them lined up in my sites, and my daughter kicked my mouse hand.

That may be the best Rust death story I've read yet. It's practically cinematic.

As to airdrops, as long as at least two people are on for four server days straight there will be an airdrop on the fourth day. Then not again for another four days. At ten players regular rules kick in and I think we get one a day or something like that. I can tweak the minimum players and number of days however seems appropriate. Maybe two players is too low ... would four be better? I had it at five players, but we never seemed to be able to do that so I dropped it to two mostly just to see if we could get it to work at all.

Having them every few days is fine. But we've had two just in the couple of hours I've been online today.

Yes, server is definitely getting a few more people.

TheCatt is going to drive away the only players that aren't us on the server. :D

As for loot, I already have 6 C4. Granted I also got an airdrop, and then another with my supply canister.

Aside from that, I feel loot is pretty balanced.

All this playing, and I just realized flares are super torches.

They light up more area, can be thrown, last as long as they're in your hand, and can't be seen by other players. They do make noise though.

Oh, and FYI, I have 6 C4 and want to try some out. If your house doesn't have our standard door code, it could be blown up.

Yeah we need to plan on raiding that one north of Coastal resource. Providing it doesn't belong to anyone else.

My 3x3 tower Above Civ Two is getting pretty big.

My house down south is slowly growing. 3x3, just starting on the second floor. Every room has a campfire, large storage, furnace, and workbench. Most have a bed or sleeping bag. My stuff is stored all over the place so no one room breech will hurt much.

My opinion, air drops should only occur when there are a lot of people to contest them. Unless the 4 person airdrops can be made much weaker than 15 person airdrops. If one person has 6 C4 in a 24 hour period, that's WAY too much C4. Get someone with no life and at the end of the week he's got 42 C4? I think C4 should be distributed about 5 per real week. Especially with this small of a population. It could be scaled up with more people though.

Okay, in that case I've upped it to 1 drop every 12 game days if 4 people have been online for that time. That's 12 hours of real life time of 4 people being on before a drop comes. I figure that should happen - maybe - once per real life day. Probably less. If our server pop goes up to make it too often then I'll lengthen the days further.

At 10 regular rules kick in, which ... I'm not sure how often that will be. More often.

I went back to it. [SWAT]S2 logged in, I heard a door open, and we exchanged a few shots.

He went behind a metal door, so I left.

Was doing a loot run, and S2 came out and started shooting, so I left... I saw some guy in red shirt being attacked by bears, and shot at the bear to help. The person interpreted it as me shooting at them, I think. OR, he was coming over to help out S2 anyway. It must have been Buzz Lightyear based on who was logged in at the time. At any rate, S2 and Buzz paired up and went after me. I barely managed to get away.

Man I suck at combat.
