Leisher wrote: Sun Oct 23, 2022 7:54 pm The left tackle moves before any contact is made on the other side of the line. False start is the correct call. Also, a 55 yarder is not an automatic make for anyone in the league.
The LT does move before contact, but only AFTER the Ravens enter the neutral zone, which is a neutral zone infraction. Should have been 5 yards against Baltimore.
Leisher wrote: Sun Oct 23, 2022 7:54 pm Woot! My Jets-Seahawks parlay hit (Thanks Bill Simmons! His underdog parlay has hit two weeks in a row.) I also won on a straight bet with the Giants.
Nice!

Ours doesn't do the % chance thing, which would be kinda nice.

I have a 50 point lead (Thanks Walker, Ekeler, and Dallas' D), with 2 individual D players (typically around 10 pts total). He has Jalen Waddle and an individual D player. Feels pretty safe. If I suck this, I will have beaten both of the top 2 teams in the league.

Not until the ball is snapped. The left tackle is too far away to be affected, which is in the rule.

Steelers' D looked like shit to start this game, but have settled down. I rode Cowherd's parlay on this game. I need yards from Waddle, Hill, I've got Steelers +14.5, and...something else.

That was lame shit. I cannot believe that was a real thing they did.

Disagree. Peripheral vision is real.

They actually did a "You can't spell Pickett without Pick", but did it about the Steelers drafting him.

Two terrible picks by Pickett.

When you have 20 yards in front of you, run. Don't try to force one dummy.

The four dropped INTs by the Steelers didn't help.

It's weird to root for your team to win games while knowing losing more is what's best for the year so they can draft higher.

Well, last night sure proved that.

Yeah, very conflicted about that GB game today.

Here's where it gets funny. My wife said she learned on a podcast that Giselle claims to be a witch. Somehow I had told her the Bucs were struggling yesterday, the prior week, and really most of the year. She laughed and said maybe Giselle is casting spells on him.

That would explain the dropped Mike Evans TD yesterday. :D

That's hilarious.

Gisele is a "good witch" and she was wrong, so now bad witches are cursing Brady.

this article is from 2019, apparently the witch thing has been around: https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/news/tom- ... very-week/

My theory is:
Retires and is now home with the wife full time.
*This is what this is like? Fuck this. . .*
Goes back to football.

This is correct. He sold his soul to football and has no idea how to exist without it.

Seeing Bill pull Jones for Zappe tonight sucked. They were calling conservative shit for Jones and then they opened up the playbook for Zappe. Seemed very staged.

Who had the Bears blowing out the Patriots?

Belichick is going to get second guessed for benching Jones so quickly. I'm betting he thought Zappe was Tom Brady part 2.
