Supposedly there has always been 24 accusers, but only 22 ever pressed charges. Now that these two are seeing the possibility of getting that golden egg, they have now changed their mind.

My QB had two accusers and despite one of their claims being completely disproven, it got old real fast and made it difficult to root for him. I cannot imagine how much it sucks having a serial rapist as your QB.

Not gonna lie, a part of me really wishes we would've just stuck with Baker. In the long run, he'll be playing again and this will be a thing of the past (although never forgotten) and there will be something else that takes the headlines in the NFL. But good lord, this is not fun for the fans..
I'd rather be dealing with Baker's shortcomings than hearing this bullshit. It has split the fanbase and it's nothing to do with football. Damn shame..

In other fun Browns news. It's really sounding like the Baker to Panthers talk is starting to get legs again. One trade scenario has the two teams trading Baker for Darnold straight up. Since their contracts are essentially the exact same it does make sense. Panthers get an upgrade for the same exact price and the Browns get an $18M third stringer.. Or at least i hope so.
Oh yeah, who do the Browns play week 1?? Yep, the Panthers.. You can't tell me the NFL isn't scripted.

I don't know what the NFL is going to do about Watson. To anyone with a brain it's pretty clear he was behaving badly. However, I would strongly argue the Texans have some culpability. The Browns big mistake was their "due diligence", which apparently involved just asking Watson if he did these things and then taking him at his word.
Calvin Ridley was suspended the entire season last year for wagering $1500 on a game. Watson has 26 allegations against him and climbing.
Meanwhile, other teams pissed at the Browns for the ludicrous contract are probably laughing their asses off and won't break a sweat defending them. Hell, they're probably going to use this entire situation as proof to why they can't offer that much guaranteed money.
Watson needs to be punished and it's got to be something historic. Anything less is going to be a PR disaster.
Houston also needs to be punished for enabling his behavior.
The Browns' punishment is going to be losing all that money and draft picks.
