If the Vikes had someone who didn't turn the ball over and could reliably throw a completion on third and not short, they'd be destroying the div right now. Eventually Cordarelle Patterson will realize he can catch, but it ain't happening unless a decent QB is throwing.

Dealt Ray Rice + Marlon Brown for Le'Veon Bell and Colston.

Bell is now the dude in 'Burgh, and I think he's better than he's been given a chance to prove. Plus, he's got a week 12 match at Cleveland when Lynch is on bye. Colston is just someone I need for a WR upgrade.

In a really interesting twist, someone's offering me Roddy White for Fred Jackson.

PPR league:
Reggie Wayne versus Welker + Jennings v. NYG. I'm up by 8.

Come the fuck on, Wes.

Reggie Wayne's out and Welker's done enough damage regardless of the outcome now. Even got Jennings to go Monday in the hope I can minimize the points scored difference between me and the dude in second place. I'm in first for another week, but I'm -60 points behind the closest competitor. Might be another -30 in store this week unless Jennings lights it up. If things go as I think, I'll be tied for top record in the league.

Wow. Doug Martin, Sam Bradford, Reggie Wayne, 3 DBs for Indy, Jay Cutler, Nick Foles ... just a few of the many fun injuries this week. Still 1 game to go, too.

I got to see Jay Cutler go down in person. Sadly, McCown really helped Chicago step up their O. Great game, and was excellent to see RG3 being last year's RG3 again. Washington is certainly mediocre... winning the division isn't outside the question, but certainly unlikely. Impossible in any other division in the league.
Over the next four weeks, Washington will face Denver, San Diego, Minnesota and Philly, teams that currently rank 32nd, 25th, 29th and 31st against the pass.

That could be fun. Sure, our D won't seal the deal (cept maybe against the Vikings), but our O will get to have some fun.

With Martin out for the season, I'm thinking of trying to vulture Mike James from the waiver wire.

We knocked Sam Bradford out for the year :(

Wasn't on purpose or a dirty play, feel really bad for the guy.

He'd been getting pummeled all season. The Rams have never protected him. Surprised he lasted this long without problems.

Barring a 40 point night out of Brandon Jacobs, I'm going to 5-2 in my work league.

In my family/friends league my WRs got me a whole 7 fucking points this week. Anyone remember Larry Fitzgerald? Me either.

I still lead by 2, but he has Rueben Randle going tonight. I need Rueben to be held to 0 or 1 point, which has happened twice this year, or I'll be falling to 5-2 in that league.

If Randle starts dropping and fumbling, his ass will get benched. But all it'd take is 1 20-yarder, and it ain't like Eli's not throwing it tonight.

Tonight's game features the Vikings vs Giants, with combined winning percentage of .090%, makes it the worst MNF game in its 44 year history.

Apparently there was an 0-4 vs 0-4 game... so we'll say worse with at least 9 games decided.

I was wondering what happened to Peyton Hillis.

Overheard at the Skins-Bears game yesterday: "Apparently Cade has a brother"
Cade McNown
Josh McCown

It's making me long for the days of T-Jack.

EDIT: Goddamn, if he does this for another couple weeks, I'll replace "T-Jack" with "Joe Webb."

Fuck it. Just fuck it and put Cassel in until the end of the season. Having a chance to win is better than no chance. Dish off everyone except AP for the most immediate return you can get inside five years and call it a season.

EDIT: We'll be making catheter tubes out of cactus before Josh Freeman is a viable QB.

The Rams:
Only have Kellen Clemons on the roster. They're talking to Brady Quinn and ... *gasp * Greg McElroy. No word on whether or not Marc Bulger is being coaxed out of retirement, since he was the last QB that could throw under pressure there.

I think that was the worst MNF game i've seen.

Vikings had what seemed like the worst play calling with a week-on-the-team QB. I don't think he's any good, but I've seen him be competent occasionally, but it was like 55 long developing pass plays... really?

I don't care how bad AD is getting smoked by their run D, throw more than one(1) screen to him and see what happens.

I want my 3 hours back.

It was an embarrassment to the NFL.

I don't get what the Vikings are doing. Let's get a guy who got cut by another team, pay him more than our other two QBs combined, start him right away further destroying those two QBs, and preferably before he's even remotely acclimated to the offensive system.

Ponder and Cassell were probably laughing at that display last night. It was like Freeman had never played a game before.
