I had Christian Kirk on one of my fantasy teams last year and he didn't do much in Arizona. He had upside with DeAndre Hopkins playing, but once he went out and Kirk had to be the #1 he did nothing.
I legit have never heard of Zay Jones before.

Browns trade Wilson for Winovich.
Jaguars release Myles Jack.
He was arguably their best player for years, very popular, and far less expensive than the no name WRs they just signed.
Not sure what they're doing down there in Jacksonville.

Place your bets on the Watson sweepstakes. Will it be the Falcons who don't realize Matt Ryan isn't the main reason why they can't win, the "they're still a ton of players away even if they get him" Panthers, the "ok, this would be interesting if Sean Peyton were still here" Saints, or the "in the name of all that is holy, we don't want more Baker" Browns?

I think the Browns are a long shot here. I'm pretty sure both the Texans and Watson would prefer to be in the NFC. But the fact that Watson with his no trade clause is actually willing to hear out the Browns gives me some pause.
I almost feel like this is a point of no return with Baker. How do the Browns go back without Watson and say "ok Baker, we stand behind you even though you're on the last year of your contract and have openly courted a possible suitor." I'm now thinking that the Browns must have a backup plan in place incase the Watson deal doesn't materialize. Whoever that is, i don't know. Carr, Ryan, Winston, Goroppolo?? But the Browns front office has made it pretty clear that Baker is not their guy going forward.
i'm guessing the Saints are the front runners.

More importantly, how terrible will those teams be 4 years from now if they win?

For the Browns, teaming up with the Falcons seems logical. Make it a three team package and the Texans can get their 3 1st rounders:
Browns get Matt Ryan.
Falcons get Watson.
Texans get Mayfield, Browns 1st round pick, 2 Falcons 1st round picks, and maybe some more later round picks to trump another offer. (Years TBD on those picks.)

It would help the Falcons and Browns to work together so they don't mortgage the future. I don't know how the Panthers could make it work because the rest of their team isn't loaded.
The Falcons might have some pressure on them considering the Braves just won the World Series and made another huge trade yesterday indicating they're still trying to win.

Gotta believe Baker just penned his goodbye letter to Cleveland last night.
https://www.yahoo.com/now/baker-mayfiel ... ZLmsiPRmsP
Looks like he's gone. Not going to say it's Watson to replace him but if i'm a betting man i'm guessing the following.
Browns will have one of the following at QB Watson, Goropollo, or Ryan
Baker will be in Indy
Atlanta is the front runner for Watson is my guess, which makes Matt Ryan the favorite for Cleveland at that point.

After going public with their search for a new QB, if Baker is still the starting QB, it would be very Browns...
I loved my trade idea above that ends with Ryan in Cleveland, Watson in Atlanta, and Baker in Houston. It's win-win-win.

Seeing it said that Atlanta doesn't actually want Watson, but rather they're just driving up the price for the Saints and Panthers. And obviously Cleveland too.

Stranger, did this really come out of the Browns?
In other news, the Steelers signed Myles Jack. That D might be something special next year.
Also, heard Denzel Ward might be involved in the Browns' offer for Watson. For Stranger's sake I hope they know what they're doing. I saw someone post a tweet a few days back comparing Baker and Watson's stats and they weren't that far apart.

Not sure what that says. I can't read Twitter links here at work, its blocked. What does it say?

We all know that stats only tell some of the truth. The eyes tell you that Watson is better than Baker, its easy to see.
I know the price for a franchise QB is gonna be hefty, they know that too. It's going to cost them 1st round draft pics and probably a really good player too. I'd hate to see someone like Ward, JOK, or Hunt go but we've desperately needed a real QB for 20+ years. I just hate that Watson has so much baggage that comes along with him now.
Bottom line is, the team has just about all the right pieces in place to win now, just need the QB to take them to the next level.

What does it say?
Whoever told Chris Mortenson #Browns wanted "an adult" at quarterback must know they really are done with Baker because it's safe to assume that Mayfield and his people didn't appreciate hearing that on the 4-letter network. Divorces are ugly and this one may get messy.

i heard that too, probably true. Baker has shown his immaturity and has let his emotions get in the way of rational thought many times.

According to Schefter: Browns are out of Watson trade.
Actually i'm ok with this. Giving up the farm for a guy that's going to bring in a circus isn't what i think this team needs.
So onto plan B, whatever that may be..

At this point its either him or Goroppolo right?? maybe Matt Ryan if Atlanta lands Watson. Unless there is something in the works that nobody is seeing.

Watson said no to the Browns.
And per that article, it appears Baker was indeed the backup plan.

I heard Baker has now asked for a trade and Cleveland is "not accommodating that request".
