My kingdom for a QB!!!
I would seriously consider Vince Young or Brett Favre at this point.
Weeden pulled one of the all time bonehead INT's yesterday. I've never seen someone process the game so slowly.
I really think Cleveland dropped the ball by not getting Josh Freeman, he might not have looked good in Tampa but their coach is just a complete dipshit and will be fired.
At this point i think that Cleveland will once again finish in the cellar and the Steelers will have more wins than them.
Such is life in Cleveland, I don't wanna hear about how bad life is in Minnesota. This city has suffered some 180 straight seasons without a championship of any kind!!

Trade you Freeman for Hoyer, straight up, right now.

Favre's officially retired. Shit, I'm surprised the Browns didn't get on the Matt Flynn bandwagon.

Bob Costas and "Redskin."
"Ask yourself what the equivalent would be, if directed toward African-Americans,
Hispanics, Asians, or members of any other ethnic group. When considered that way,
'Redskins' can’t possibly honor a heritage, or a noble character trait, nor can it possibly
be considered a neutral term. It’s an insult, a slur, no matter how benign the present-day intent."
Yes, Bob, every time someone says "Redskin" they're out to rub it in the face of every member of that minority.

Really offensive team names. Note the second to last one on the list.

I've never read the Onion sports before. I have been missing something.
Philadelphia Eagles: At 2-3, Philadelphia looks poised to run away with the NFC East
Dallas Cowboys: The reeling Cowboys have plummeted to the top of the NFC East standings
And that last link is INSANE. I've been to CMU several times, I'm guessing that person has not.

Central Michigan Chippewas, University of Utah Utes and Florida State Seminoles (Division I): These three Division I teams are named after Native American tribes indigenous to their regions, and have received those tribes’ official permission. Does that really mean we shouldn’t care?
Yeah, that right there is enough to know this is not a reasonable article, but someone with an ax to grind. And very condescending, too. "We've got to protect these poor innocent natives from letting themselves be exploited by the white man."

I started the night down 10 points.
I have Vinatieri, E. Weddle (DB), and J. Freeman (LB)
He has Luck.
I'm currently up 2 points. I don't expect to win, but still.... a lot closer than I thought it would be.

IDP? Yeah, Luck pretty much has to get injured or you need a couple defensive scores. San Diego's secondary looks considerably less shitty than I remember.

Jerrell Freeman -- concussed -- gone for the night.

I was up 22 and against Luck. Looks like I'm hanging on easily for the win.
I'm now 5-1 in one league, and 4-2 in the other.

Wow... so Freeman got 7 before he went out, Weddle got 6, and Vinatieri got 15. Luck had 8.
I'm 2-4 now... still worst in the league, since all the other 1-4 teams won too.

Holy shit. Know anyone that wants to be on an o-line in the NFL? I think Arizona might be hiring.

PPR league:
Dude is offering me Steve Smith, Ben Tate, and Joique Bell for Woodhead. Looking to dish off Ray Rice before trade deadline in a month, so maybe I'll counteroffer.

He's a 2nd RB at best, but he has occasional upside and is reliable. Depends what your bench is.

Bench ain't that great. Problem is Rice and Woodhead have the same bye in week 8. I'd like to split them, and I really ain't keeping Ray next season. I badly need a reliable #2 WR.
Counteroffered with Rice + Marlon Brown/Roddy White in exchange for Antonio Brown + Joique Bell. He occasionally vultures a TD while Tate's only useful when Foster's down.
EDIT: Offered him Rice + Roddy for Ogbonnaya + Brown.

Dumb-ass says Vikings needs to fuck up the same way the Browns did. Someone a bit more sane weighs in.

The Browns may be fuck ups, but i'd have to say the Trent Richardson trade was a good move. He did finally avg 4 yards a carry in the last game 10 rushes for 40 yards! WOW!
If the Browns could get a 1st for him then the Vikings could easily get more than that cause Trent is no AP. And i'd have to say AP isn't having the same year as last year. Amazing athlete and running back, but the Vikings aren't winning with him. I'd have to say i kinda agree with the article, AP is getting high in miles and his trade value is prolly as high as it will be.
The Vikings are in the same situation as the Browns, they are forever in search of their franchise QB. Without one you ain't shit!
