For example, yesterday the NYT ran a piece about how "hate speech" has skyrocketed on Twitter since Elon took over. Their sources were two political groups who aren't exactly big free speech fans. The biggest question many had was "what constitutes hate speech and who decides that"? A genuinely fair question. However, the credibility of that article aside, you know what article they aren't running? How Elon's team has squashed child porn far more than the previous team. A team that made calling someone a "groomer" a bannable offense and considered it hate speech.

"Hate" means nothing scientifically, is relative, and when used as a data point is indicative the user is either incredibly biased, or incredibly stupid.
