Well, it's early... but 2 years in he's below middling. Though with an abortion of an O-Line for a while.

Trevor Lawrence closed as a massive -10,000 favorite to be the No. 1 overall pick, and some bettors were willing to risk a lot to win a little that the Jacksonville Jaguars would take the Clemson quarterback.

PointsBet reported taking an $18,000 bet on Lawrence to be the top pick at -10,000 odds. The bettor won a net $180 when the Jaguars selected Lawrence with the first pick.
Why bother?

Cleveland has had some pretty infamous "super fans" Big Dawg.. Bone lady.. Captain Brown.. 3 dog head man.. etc.

i actually enjoy Macho Fan's antic to that of Pumpkinhead. That dummy that wears a giant angry pumpkin on his head. Dude annoys me, at least bulk up if you're gonna have that huge pumpkin head.

Oh man, why did the Jets have to draft Michael Carter? Dyami Brown to the WTFers, hope he works out. Chazz Surratt to MN. Javonte Williams to Denver. Go Heels.

Teams loaded up on quarterbacks, receivers and offensive linemen during the early portions of the three-day affair. Never had there been more passers (eight) or offensive tackles (14) selected during the first three rounds. The total of 15 receivers drafted over that period was tied for fourth most since the common draft era began in 1967.
NFL is basically becoming all about one thing.

Kiper gives Steelers his lowest draft grade.

I agree. Harris is a good player, but a first rounder for a RB is usually a bad idea. Good ones can be found via free agency or undrafted FAs. Aside from Green they didn't address the terrible O line. They also didn't really get anyone to replace the two starting CBs who are now gone.

There is word going around Steelers' circles that the 3 year deal Tomlin just signed is a farewell present. Nobody is even sure he'll make it to year 3.

No idea if that's true or not. I do know that if he's smart, he walks when BB does because going from a HOF QB to not is going to expose Tomlin. Right now he can quit as "never had a losing season HC" and sign with some network as an analyst.

He is also losing GM Colbert who is expected to retire before the next draft.

This could be the last year for the Colbert, Tomlin, BB group. It would make sense for a new GM to bring in a new HC and start the rebuilding process.

Fields is going to be interesting to watch. Reports are out now that 1/3rd of the NFL had him rated higher than Lawrence. (Those are the winning teams whose QBs are set...)

He didn't have DUIs or an SI piece about how he just doesn't care about football or winning.

He also had this going for him:

Dez upset Tebow got a deal and he hasn't.

I don't think Dez understands:
-Urban and Tebow are tight. Tebow even recruited for OSU when Urban was there.
-Tebow doesn't have the red flags Dez does...at all. It's 0 vs a lot. Tebow didn't need a "handler" when he was in the NFL.
-Tebow sells a LOT of merch. Apparently, Christians love football.

Steelers open at the Bills, so we'll at least start 0-1.

I will obviously root for the Steelers to win their 7th Super Bowl, but that's not realistic. In fact, for the first time in the 20+ years that I've known him, I won't think Stranger is as crazy predicting a Browns Super Bowl appearance this year.

I will also secretly enjoy it if Tomlin has his first losing season.

WTFers 9-8
Browns: 12-5
Steelers: 7-10... but I feel like they could squeeze out 8-9.
Panthers: 8-9... but that's the top end, imho. more likely to be 7-10 than 9-8

Schedules are out.

Vegas

Vegas: 8, 9.5, 8.5, 7.5 (teams in same order as up top)

Leisher:
WTFers 10-7
Browns 12-5
Steelers 9-8
Panthers 4-13

ESPN: 8, 10, 8, 8 - Suspiciously close to vegas' results.

GB signs Blake Bortles.

Bridgewater criticizes Ruhle's coaching. Considering where Teddy has been, Rhule should listen...

As for schedules, I'll go:
WTFers 10-7
Browns 12-5
Steelers 9-8
Panthers 4-13
