Do you think they've already installed sensors to ensure you don't place something over it? That's the first thing that popped in my head. Free TV, just throw something over the ads...maybe paint?

Roku files a patent on showing you ads when you pause movies/games.

So you're on your X-Box playing GTA6 and you pause because your wife comes in to talk to you about something, and pop, an ad starts playing on your Roku TV.

I hope the person who thought of this has herpes.
