Is there any open land left? Have a house and want to get another farm down. My wife is actually showing interest.
However, it has to be a nice spot with a farm. Has to have a nice view. And she doesn't want any of that tribal bullshit anywhere (so, all the houses in the area have to be completed).
Was checking out that Ezna peninsula, but of course, it's full. They placed well enough that they got the minimum amount of houses there. TONS of open space, but no room for a house. You can't have farms up there either, so, not sure if that would have worked anyway.

Also noticed that he changed to the Trickster class. I fully agree with this move, dropping the Vitalism for Shadowplay is worth the move. If you wanna be a healer i think you've gotta fully spec into it or else the heals are underwhelming.
Shadowplay really supports the archer builds. The lower level abilities don't help too much but dropback is nice to get some room. Stalkers mark is the key ability for the archers, (When the mark disappears, the target receives additional damage of 50 times the number of ranged attacks suffered during the mark's duration.) This is HUGE when combined with endless arrows. Level 25 is stealth, for obvious reasons this is good. Level 30 toxic shot and 35 pin down. Pretty much the only skills you will need with archery. So add all that to the CC that witchcraft has and you've gotta really control heavy, high damage champ. I really heavily considered going for the Trickster class because i like all that has to offer. Much better than the Soulbow..
I was thinking . . . next time we try Tas's trade pack. We move in close enough to finish the quest, then head to a less camped dock for actual turn in.
Oh, and I'm running to the wall to raise horse xp and get LP. Every thirty seconds I'm jumping to stay connected.
Need to see if Scooty can make some armor for my horse.
Lastly, how worth it are the pomegranate trees? Poms and lumber trade at about the same price. In the same space, and time, we'd get a lot more lumber than we do poms, and we can sell the lumber to buy them.
i think Scooty got offended that i didn't want his platemail armor. Thanks for the offer but i'm choosing to go with leather, it gives me a more rounded defense against physical and magic damage. And the added bonuses it gives archers are too great in my opinion.
If scooty wants to be the armor maker for the guild go for it. It looks like you've got enough people wanting to roll with plate armor so that should keep you busy for some time. If you also wanna build armor for me then you would have to get proficient in leatherworking. I just figured since i was the only one wearing it that i would focus on that, but if you wanna do that also then let me know, i've got no problem with you crafting some better armor for me
About the armor, I've heard a lot of folks are going archer, and if that's the case, you could make an argument for the increased defense of plate when facing other archers.
Still, I'm going to work through the quests to my next set of leather and see how that compares to the plate I'm wearing.
Last night was a bit of a clusterfuck. The ocean is brutal. I was happy to have helped save that trade pack, but I knew coming into that dock that we were fucked. They were like hornets there. They had the stairs completely barricaded. Bad move on our part.

I'm just going off the fact that a full set of leather (7 of 7) give you all achery bonuses and if you look at the stats that leather gives vs plate you will notice that leather armor will give you agility stats whereas plate gives you strength stats. So the plate will make your melee attacks hit harder, but i'm an archer i don't need that. The leather will give your bow increased ranged attack, accuracy, evasion and crit rates. Kinda sounds like it goes hand in hand to me.
So yeah, plate will definetely give you better defense and prolly help against archers more. But as for the offensive side of things, you get much better bonuses in pretty much everything with leather armor if you're an archer.

Yeah, now that the price is down I wonder if lumber is more profitable.
There are all kinds of new things on the farmers workstation to build. I went fishing with my new fishing pole yesterday and got 10g in fish. So that owned.
I successfully made a character on the Luscious server last night. Western continent, right?
The game crashed when I talked to the first quest giver and I didn't care to queue again, so that's as far as I got. Maybe next weekend I'll go so far as to kill a mob.

From what I can tell, you can only use it if you or a character on your account made it.
It has a full crafting menu for things like Seed Farming Packages (to get worms), Combined feed for cows/lambs/etc and a daily quest farming thing.
However, it requires 15k farming to make half of the things.... that's gonna be a bit.
It also lets you turn in vocations badges for a few pages of special brotherhood items. like chopped squid and 15% scrolls of faster harvesting of various things.
"Team YOLO Swag" got rick rolled on the Eastern continent docks last night. Just obliterated. Clearly it was Leisher's fault.
I wonder if we should send a scout in while we are still a ways off the coast. At least we can see if there is 20 level 40's just waiting to pick off traders. This scout will surely be risking his hide but if there is only a few enemies there we can try and rush the dock. If its loaded with a bunch of YOLO SWAG lifers then we can move on to another location.
