Stable as a mofo.
The exodus comes after the government admitted it had lost control of the city - west of Baghdad - to al-Qaeda-linked militants and allied tribesmen.

Fighting is also reported in Ramadi, also in Anbar province, parts of which are in the hands of militants.

Both the US and Iran have offered military support, though not troops.

Yeah, we've got health care and unemployment benefits to worry about over here.

The U.S.–Iraq Status of Forces Agreement (official name: Agreement Between the United States of America and the Republic of Iraq On the Withdrawal of United States Forces from Iraq and the Organization of Their Activities during Their Temporary Presence in Iraq) was a status of forces agreement (SOFA) between Iraq and the United States, signed by President George W. Bush in 2008. It established that U.S. combat forces would withdraw from Iraqi cities by June 30, 2009, and all U.S. forces will be completely out of Iraq by December 31, 2011.

Weird, because Dubyuh signed that shit.

If memory serves, Dubyuh was getting blamed for everything, even global warming.

So I don't think you should be shocked that Obama is now taking the blame for everything occurring during his term.

His contribution to US history will be remembered as that joke called the DHS. I have no sympathy.

We'll yeah, but that anyone could think of any other last name other Bush when we talk about Iraq is so, so wrong.

Iraq asks for air strikes. B. Rock: [url=http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article ... -engagemen

Insane, old man weighs in.
The committee, the two say, “is supported by citizens who are dedicated to the hard but necessary task of preserving freedom and restoring American strength and power in the wake of the Obama administration’s national security failures.”

Yet again, he's part of the administration that made the DHS, the poster boy for "national security failure."

I can think of lots of other last names involved in Iraq. Let's stop pretending he's the only person who decided anything about that whole situation.

All four presidents since Desert Shield are involved and their entire cabinets. Let's not forget Congress and foreign powers either. Let's also not forget Saddam who could have stopped any military action from taking place very easily, and didn't have to murder his own people.

But yeah, Bush/Haliburton/global warming...

Bush started the DHS but a Democratic congress had to approve it, and Obama has done nothing to curb it in 6 years even though he could do so with the stroke of a pen.

I doubt Bush could foresee the bullshit the DHS would become, which was created very close to 9/11 when no one knew wtf was going to happen. Obama can't not know what bullshit the DHS is, and he is gleefully building on it.

Yeah, a mistake was made. Under that ignorant, incompetent, clusterfuck of a president we have now, the mistakes are not being fixed.

HEY.... I guess we couldn't have Reagan without Carter. Let's hope.

There are precisely 0 members of Congress on board with shutting down the DHS or TSA. I've got no idea why.

Well, then his ass should've shut it down before he left office. It'd go down in history as the greatest lame duck prez legislation ev4r. But no, he increased funding to it every year. "He couldn't foresee it" isn't a defense. I don't even believe Dubyuh thinks the DHS/TSA was a clusterfuck. He probably views it as one of his greatest accomplishments of this country since the Declaration of Independence was penned. I've never heard him (or anyone in DC) once even come anywhere close to criticizing it. Every time he had a speech regarding anything about it, it's as if that agency walks on water and saves this country multiple times every day, single-handedly. And if you cut their funding by $1, the terrorists win. The same way they apparently win if I bring toothpaste in my luggage, don't take off my shoes prior to boarding, and don't unpack then repack half my shit right at the security checkpoint in front of the TSA agents that would flunk out of a Best Buy security training seminar.

Yeah. I have always said DHS was Bush's primary mistake, you can find multiple instances of me saying that on this forum if you look hard enough.

I'm just saying Obama owns it now, and he is even more responsible for it because he was supposed to be better than Bush.

DHS falls under the executive branch, iirc. Even if congress wont vote against it, Obama could easily dismantle it if he truly wanted to.

If he truly wanted to.

Again, I'm not defending either's actions. I just enjoy that the right is doing to Obama what the left did to Bush.

Because they're all power-hungry corrupt assholes, and the only mandates of the DHS and TSA is to solidify the power of the federal government at the expense of the people. That's like Congressional Viagra. Of course they don't want to shut it down.

Which is why I don't believe the "couldn't foresee" it defense.

You're suggesting that Bush had brilliant foresight?
