You stick to your shitty QB.. and you continue to lose. What does that tell the rest of your team?! We're not going to go out and help you guys, we'll wait for next year. So go ahead and throw in the towel for this season.

The Vikes just inked a deal for a new stadium. No one is terribly happy about that considering how much they've been sucking. In the short term, Cassel is a better starting choice than Freeman for at least few weeks. Long term, none of the 3 scrubs are viable solution. Josh Freeman's new name may as well be Jason Campbell, Jr.

To me doing nothing is throwing in the towel way more than trying to see if something will work. Whats the worst that can happen? you lose?

I am the sultan of suck! nobody has seen more inept QB play than I! I'm just sick and tired of seeing my team be ok with total shit play at QB!

oh yeah, Freeman was 10-6 in 2010, thats pretty close to 11-5. Still, not saying Freeman is some great qb, but he did have that for one season, just like Cassel who was with the Patriots, not the Buccs.
I'm betting you wrote all that while I was adding the edit to my post.

I agree with you about Cleveland, but it's a different situation. There's no QB competition there because the best QB is out for the season, and the backup doesn't want to play. If I were in Cleveland, I'd cut Jason Campbell and sign Tebow.

Tell the fans quite simply:
"Jason made it clear he didn't want the starter's job, so we felt he wasn't providing the proper competition to push our starter. Tim Tebow might not be Peyton Manning, but you can damn sure bet he'll push Wheedon or take his job. Now go buy a Tebow jersey!"

I would also have approved of Freeman to Cleveland. You guys already pulled the trigger on Wheedon. He was gone. Campbell is just collecting a paycheck and needs to be cut. My backup QBs should be itching for a chance to start, not content to sit on the pine.

The more I think about it, the more I think Tebow is perfect for Cleveland. No, he's not the best, but neither are they. However, the fans don't quit on the team, and neither would he.

Here's a new wrinkle in the Browns' curious quarterback conundrum: Former NFL starter Jeff Garcia called and offered his services.

HAHAHA!!

Initial reaction in Cleveland... Thank God! anything has gotta be better than Weeden!

On another note.. Jeff Garcia?! NO! just NO! but his wife is pretty hot.

Kinda why i'm hoping the Browns draft AJ Mccarron, cause when he starts blowing the TV cameras can pan on over to his hot ass woman. Better than watching the crap on the field.

St. Louis called Brett Favre, asking if the 44-year-old QB if he would be willing to play. Favre declined. More to story on ESPN all day.

They = ESPN

It was an ESPN is the worst post, not the Rams. I still feel bad for screwing over their season.

Life gets better for the Bucs.
"How bad is it there? It's worse than you can imagine," one NFL player who spent 2012 with the Bucs recently told Silver. "It's like being in Cuba."

I picked up Marvin Jones for $1 and started him because Woodhead was on bye and I'm sure as shit not starting Jennings. I was going to be reduced to Cole Beasley (because again .. Jennings), but Marvin's injury status was upgraded to probable. My WR2 situation is fucked beyond words, and I'm auditioning anyone who can consistently bring in more than ten points a week with a better than 50% certainty.

My opponent started Andy Dalton. I looked up his 34 points today and cursed loudly. Especially considering this was after I realized Marques Colston and Gronk did a fuckton of nothing for me.

Then I looked up Marvin's stat lines and praised loudly the dark gods of fantasy football, their twisted sense of humour, and the 44.2 points he netted me. Combined with Le'Veon Bell, Welker, and the Bengals D, I'm about even with my opponent, still with Lynch and Wilson going against the Rams Monday night, and he's out of players after the second set is done. Fawesome. He's no Calvin Johnson (goddamn, just another 8 yards for the record) but he'll do.
