Does your team need a boost? Just play the Rams.

I think I honestly would prefer the Steelers crash and burn so they have to admit the season is lost and start a rebuilding process.

Word on the street is that the Pats wanted to put Gronk in week 2 but Gronk and his agent wanted week 6. The hell? Who is the Patriots team doctor?

Flacco is totally worth his contract.
On March 4, 2013, Flacco signed a six-year contract worth $120.6 million, a record high for a quarterback at the time.

Six years for ~$120M, so $20M per year. What does $20M buy you nowadays for an NFL quarterback? 1091 yards passing, six TD passes, SEVEN goddamned interceptions, five of those coming today. Flacco needs to be traded to NYJ so I can start calling him "Off-Broadway Joe." I also declare that going for Ray Rice has officially fucked both my fantasy teams this year.

As for NYG, they're a Victor Cruz injury away from being the Steelers. Least Eli managed 1 TD this week. Maybe he'll get twice as many next time.

Speaking of the Steelers...
Are they all committing mass suicide tomorrow or ... what's the plan?

What are you talking about? The Giants are FAR worse than the Steelers. The Steelers can actually score points. They're not getting blown out like the Giants or Jags.

I think this is a combination of an old defense, the youngest and most injured offensive line in the league, and Mike Tomlin not being able to get the most out of his players.

Trade Ben!

...Mike Tomlin not being able to get the most out of his players.

He had the Tone Loc eyes going a few times. I keep expecting him to break out "Wild Thing" on the sidelines or something.

How bad is Ray Rice? To put it in perspective, with the exception of week 1, Danny Woodhead has outperformed him every week. Just goddamnit. Benching Rice for Woodhead this week would have made me bring Greg Jennings in to flex. Looks like he had his "Thank fucking god Ponder isn't throwing" celebration and I missed out. FUCK.

Trent Richardson, 20 carries for 60 yards against easily the worst team in football. Getting a first round draft pick for this very ordinary running back in a league that is devaluating the RB position is like striking gold!

Good job to the Cleveland front office for making this move. And who knows, the Browns might not even need to use that pick on a QB.

Call em the mistake by the lake all you want, but they're tied for first in the division and the Squeelers are 0-4! And you can say the Hoyer is playing better than every other QB in that division right now.

And the Indians won 10 in a row to make it to the wildcard game! So all you Cleveland haters can suck it!!!

92 wins is no small feat in baseball. Its not like the NBA or NHL where half the league makes the playoffs.

So yeah, the wildcard is an accomplishment.

Amen.

It's hard to get psyched when you know you're playing the retard squad and your backup's backup could handle them.

but they're tied for first in the division

The second worst division in the NFL. Maybe the NFC East is shittier. It's a close call.

you can say the Hoyer is playing better than every other QB in that division right now

Joe Flacco, Andy Dalton, and Big Ben. Wow. What a crew. I'd still take Ben's handwarmer over Hoyer at the moment. Maybe in another couple years.

And the Indians won 10 in a row to make it to the wildcard game! So all you Cleveland haters can suck it!!!

They closed out the season against the Twins. My company softball team could probably do that right now.

More from Big Blue.
"I thought we should have gone for it on that fourth down," Cruz said, per the New York Daily News. "It's coach's call at the end of the day. ... We had the momentum. I felt it was a yard, not even a yard, half a yard, we've got to take a risk at some point and make something happen."
"If anyone turns on our coach, I would be the first one to punch him in the mouth," Tuck said. "And put that in print. It better not happen, I know that."

You can almost hear "We Are Family" playing in the background.

Terry Bradshaw is officially the new John Madden.

They were comparing all purpose yards among:
Sproles
Welker
Cribbs
Steve Jackson

Sproles had the most, and this is right after he scores his second TD, then Terry chimes in, "Sproles is like a combination of all three of those guys."

WTF? I could go about any of those three, but what part of Steven Jackson is a 5'5" RB/WR combo? He's not the dude I think of when I hear "pass catching RB" and he's more of a battering ram than a finesse runner. He is the fucking opposite of Darren Sproles.

Giants will go 12-0 from now on, says Giants player.

Arizona Cardinals head coach compliments team's offense after win.
On Monday, the day after the Cardinals' 13-10 win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, the coach succinctly described his offense.

"It was putrid," he said, per the Cardinals' official website.

A far, far nicer word than I would have used.

Interviewer Lisa Salters responded with the perfect blend of skepticism and amusement, asking whether Suggs actually thought Goodell turned the lights out at the February game in New Orleans.

“Most definitely, I thought he had a hand in it.”
