For clarity, the prices mirror the prices for promised alpha and beta access on the Kickstarter. The more you kicked in the better the reward. And to keep from screwing those people over, they have to follow that same pricing on Steam.

The faq tells me I can convert my code to a steam account after i register with uberent, and it gives me the first step (linking the accounts), but it doesn't tell me how to activate the game through steam, after that.
