Minnesota Vikings: Delusional and embracing mediocrity. Oh well, nice chance we had at getting a real offense. Were I AP, I'd be seeking a trade yesterday.

Hmmm, Ponder isn't that awful. What do you think your choices are?

Ponder fucking blows. Joe Webb (the backup or 3rd-stringer) is worth more of a look. He's a future Dirty Sanchez.

Conan O'Brien just tweeted:
The New York Jets just fired their general manager. There, all fixed.

That made me laugh.

Joe Webb passes and runs better than Mr. Samantha Steele. Whether Ponder's shitty or mediocre, his backup's still got far more promise and potential.

Im guessing the coaches, who see a lot more of these players than you, disagree.

How fantastic would it be to hear the rant if the Vikings traded Ponder for Tebow?

I mean, by Malcolm's logic, they could since he'd want them to start Webb.

I have yet to see Tebow truly fuck up for a whole season, although I've no doubt he could and will. Three out of every four quarters he played, while ultimately being successful, looked awful. I've yet to see definitive proof. Ponder just fucked up a season. The Vikings aren't getting Tebow. I hear he's all but sealed up for Jacksonville.

They're free to be wrong if they want to.

Actually, Tebow has a year left, but they're dumping him. So if they wanted to, the Vikings could trade for him...

Saw an interesting article on him yesterday that says most scouts think he could become a star if he'd just switch positions. Why the Jets didn't use him like the Steelers used Kordell Stewart I'll never understand. They wasted third round pick on a guy who saw the field less than 50 plays this year. No wonder the GM was fired.

I know Tebow's entertaining offers from everywhere, but it's heavily rumoured he's going to Jacksonville. The Vikings aren't trading for him.

You realize I'm just teasing you right? I know there's no way the Vikings ever go after Tebow, especially considering their own QB situation. It'd just make it worse for no reason.

However, as I pointed out earlier, it be entertaining as fuck to watch you meltdown if they did trade for him.

Favre debacle?

He's the best QB Minnesota has had since Tarkington.

That's a bit of a stretch. Warren Moon had his day and Culpepper didn't suck for at least a couple seasons.

How many NFC title games did they take you to?

I love Moon, but his best years were in Houston. Favre still had one great year left for you guys.

I never bought Culpepper. I think his receivers made him better than he was.

Culpepper's career was dead when his knee gave out. That was it. Without his mobility, he's just a goddamn statue.

In my $100 auction league, we draft but get to keep up to 4 players from the previous year. Just got my prices.

Here's everyone worth mentioning, * means I'm definitely keeping them:

Ben Roethlisberger - $5: No. Russell Wilson is $2.
*Marshawn Lynch - $6: So goddamn cheap, only 6 sub-100 yard games this year. Hit up 49ers D for 100+ yards and a TD. Twice.
Ray Rice - $28: No. Joe Flacco would need to be benched.
Michael Crabtree - $17: Wondering how he got this expensive. Either way, not a bad deal. I'm 75% yes.
Wes Welker - $14: Thinking his ceiling is WR2. That's awfully expensive for a WR2/Flex, and his numbers keep getting shittier as the TEs and other WRs (Lloyd and Edelman) eat into his targets and TDs. 75% no.
Owen Daniels - $7: Too much cash for inconsistent performance.
*Russell Wilson - $2: I'll buy in for $2.
Rashard Mendenhall - $1: Unless he solidifies his job in the off-season, no.

Thoughts?
