I didn't know holograms were this far along.

I don't know about this in particular, but I do know they've gotten very good at doing projections on 2D surfaces that look very convincing from angles up to almost 20 degrees from the perpendicular view. But those aren't real holograms and from the side you'd just see the edge of the plane on which it is projected.

Ah, I assumed it was full 3d.
