Site tracking your downloads
It's just tracking public data, so nothing illegal at all about it.
It also would likely have no standing in court, so it wouldn't be something that the MPAA or RIAA would bother to subpoena.
And unless you suspect that they plan on suing 52,286,000 people, most of us don't need to worry at all. There's too big of a crowd for any but the most egregious pirates to stand out.

Hi. We have no records on you.
This means you are using a private torrent tracker or, of course, you may not be a torrent user at all! It happens. Please, entertain yourself. Feel free to see what other people have downloaded. The search box is on the top. If you have any friends who use torrents, use it to scare them off. We also have a widget that you can install in your website, blog or Facebook page. Or you can just send them a link to this site. They will see a table similar to what you see below. The only difference — they will see their downloads.
Well, you are in the clear. But look what others do
It's not me, it's someone else.

Oh, yeah, that's pretty useless then. I'm a huge offender. Huge. And I don't have a dynamic IP (well, officially it's dynamic, but it hasn't changed in four years so it's not all that dynamic).

I always login. Seems like I don't get all the options if I don't.TheCatt wrote:btjunkie is public, doesn't require uid/pw.GORDON wrote:I am using BTJunkie, IIRC.
It is bookmarked on the server, and I shut down the server earlier today, and I don't feel like going to the basement to turn it back on.
I don't really care to discuss it beyond that.
I will return to the subject if I end up being mistaken about the torrent tracker I use.

Just looked, it is BTJunkie.
If you're not logged in you see this:
I like being logged in because I am usually looking for something recent, and the home page, when logged in, will show you a list of the currently popular stuff. Also I get ideas for things I didn't know were out, yet.
SO, I guess it still works if you don't log in. I have never tried that.

Same here, I just always hit it up with something specific in mind. I'll have to check out their account options.
I also use them for their search results RSS torrent feeds as well, now that ezrss has all but gone away.
