Tickets

Note: since there was a little extra money, if we win the big thing, Gordon/I are giving 1/21 of the pot to the regulars around here.

We won $4.

Ready to retire? Or try again, since no one won.

Nope.

And the 1/21 is just if we hit the big-time.

So do you not have a bank acct hooked up to PayPal? or not want one hooked up?

I do have a bank account, I just didn't want to wait days for an amount to transfer. When is the next drawing?

Well, bank account transfers are instant. I don't understand your days comment. Guess you don't have it tied to your PayPal, you mean?

My bank transfers always took a couple days to process, in the past.

Weird. Mine are all instant. Maybe you didn't verify your acct or such?

I remember verifying the account, and I have made 5 or so transfers in the past.

Just added a few dollars from my bank account, which has (confirmed) as part of its description.

The little message said

You have added funds!

These funds will become available in your PayPal account when the electronic funds transfer is complete. This process takes 3-5 business days to complete.

But what about sending it directly to someone from your bank account?

No, just sending directly to someone, via paypal, from your bank account.

Didn't know you could do that. I thought you had to have a cash balance within paypal in order to send cash to another paypal user (unless you use a credit card). How do they make money on cash transfers if you don't carry a balance with which they can make interest?

Anyway, Just sent you another 10 with this method.

Yep, that worked, no fee!

OK, I'm going to refund the $11 one, so please resend as $10.50 or whatever. I hate PayPal getting fees.

They don't make money on this. But personal transfers are their free service to attract users to then use it to buy stuff.

*EDIT* Did you redo the $11 one already? It's showing no fee now? (Admittedly, not sure if I checked the first time, I just remember the $10 one had the fee)

I redid the $11 one the same day you rejected the first one. I think I saw it would have a $.62 fee my end when I sent it.
