Sidenote : Had a 12-man league cut down to 10 after 2 pussies backed out. 10-man league, online snake draft, 3 people showed. I got first pick overall (second overall in my other snake draft). But seriously, this is a pay league & seven folk were no shows. What the fuck? There was better participation in one of my free leagues. In another league of mine, there was a fucker calling on the phone from the hospital while his wife was having twins. I shit you not. And that was a fucking auction draft.

Had our draft last night. All 12 guys, plus a few co-owners, were there.

Eli Manning
Matt Forte

Looks a bit shaky at wideout. I'm not riding on the Santanio Holmes bangwagon. Justin Gage might make it interesting, though.

Yeah, the receivers went quick. Still, I'm not hating this group. I figure Gates might have a record year based on SD's schedule and Rivers' love for him. Gage is Tenn's #1. Driver gets me double points with Rodgers. Holmes is going to get TDs, I'm just not sure how many. Sweed I grabbed for backup and in case he fills in well for Nate Washington.

I figure there are bound to be a couple of receivers that people missed in the draft. I can drop Kevin Curtis and pick one up in a week or two to shore things up.

Still, I love my QBs and RBs.

Eli's my backup somewhere & Forte's was my 1st pick, so I hope he pays off.
