He'll probably play.. I mean.. McNabb is always 50/50 to try some lumbering charge with his knee right into a DB helmet.

Yeah, he plays as insane as Steve McNair used to, but w\o his superhuman mutant healing abilities. That being said, McNabb used to be the premiere running QB, but he's been slowed by injuries recently. Vick is a fucking RB who occasionally throws a pass (w\ a ~40% completion ratio). I think the Eagles coaching staff is secretly hoping McNabb will convince Vick he needs to spend more time passing & less time scrambling.

I would absolutely love to see a game where a healthy Westbrook & Vick were running rampant on someone. It's going to be fun seeing how long Donovan goes w\o getting hurt. Once the RB is in & the Eagles O-line can't help him, he might have to use his wideouts.

Kevin Curtis? Alright, he's legit.
Reggie Brown? Eh, ok ... I guess he's a decent #2. DeSean Jackson? No thanks. Maybe in a couple years.

Philly's got an injury-prone QB, a RB whose legs may as well be made of glass, & one real WR.

Fuck the Vikings. Fuck Childress, fuck Zygi Wilf, & fuck Spielman. I hope they go winless this year & Favre gets knocked out for the season as Brady did last year. Absolutely fucking pathetic after all the shyte that's gone down.

Their odds of winning the Super Bowl went from 1 in 25 to 1 in 12 overnight according to Vegas.

Malcolm, if they win the Super Bowl with Favre, do you still celebrate it or do you consider them to have sold their souls to the devil?

Fuck the Vikings. Till they bench that motherfucker, I don't consider them the home team. I'd rather've Rosenfels start than Favre. I'd rather've Warren Moon, right now, as opposed to Favre. I'd take Knute Rockne's corpse over Favre. The only redeeming feature Favre brings to the table is "at least it's not Vick."

Was in the bar yesterday when it scrolled acrossed the bottom of the TV screen. I started cussing and throwing a fit. The barmaid was floored, she couldn't figure it out. I am the quite, polite one of the crowd. She fed me a free shot and asked what the problem was, could she fix it? Heh.
What was I to say. Go to minn. and shoot him.

I didn't think he would get 2 years.

I know the DA was talking tough but I figured they would let him plea bargain down to a few months in jail over several summers so he wouldn't miss playing time.

I didn't read all of the article but has anyone heard if it is defiantly 2 years or will he be getting out early because of good behavior?

"If he were just John Q Public he could have walked out of the club and he never would have been arrested."

Quote from Plax's shithead lawyer. I didn't see the "only applies to celebrities" clause in the "don't carry an unregistered, concealed firearm" law in New York.

& someone fucking explain to me how Plax gets two years in jail for having a gun while another fucker gets a year's suspension from football for running someone down.

Now I am seeing law analyst for the TV stations say 20 months for plaxico if he behaves. A guy on yahoo sports says just over a year but I don't have any idea what he is basing his article on.

Donte Stallworth, hitting & KILLING another human being : 30 days.

Plaxico Burress, shooting himself in the leg w\ an unregistered firearm : 24 months.

Fuck the U.S. legal system. You're as officially as broken as MLB's policy on steroid users.

How about Vick. People get more worked up about hurting dogs than running down a Mexican.

Well, apparently the person he ran over was jaywalking, so that's why the light sentence.

The family made a deal with Stalleworth. He is basically supporting them now since the man he killed was the earner at the house and paying for kids education and stuff like that. The family pressured the courts to give a lighter sentence because it wasn't going to help them for the provider to have died and Stalleworth not making any money to help them.

For the most part I am fine with the stalleworth, burress, and vick sentences although I wish vick would have gotten a bit more but if he can changes some others minds(big if) then I am fine with it.

Either the penalty for killing someone is bullshit or the penalty for carrying a gun is bullshit.

He wasn't just carrying a gun, he was firing a gun in a crowed area.

As for killing someone stalleworth should go to jail for a longer period of time then someone who almost killed someone I guess if all things are equal but not only would stalleworth have to sit in jail longer then he did but the family who just lost a husband, dad, grandfather and lone source of income also gets to lose their house and the kids get to miss out on higher education and maybe get to be homeless. I don't think the family should be punished anymore if they have agreed to the sentence just so plaxico can feel better about his sentence.

Come on. Yeah, it was a club. & yeah, he was drinking. & yeah, it should've been holstered & he should've had a permit for it.

Fine. Then the law doesn't apply to everyone equally. Why the fuck do we even bother writing them? I suppose as long as you can financially afford to run someone over, it's all good.

No he just shouldn't have fired a gun into a crowd.

If anyone should be deciding the punishment of a murder it should be the victims family. They believe the best possible thing for them is to have him playing asap and supporting their family. If the drunk driver was you or me perhaps we would be sitting in jail for 20 years for manslaughter but the family wouldn't be any better off so I don't think the punishment should be the same for everyone when it is going to hurt more people. If the family had wanted stalleworth to get the death penalty then I wouldn't have had a real issue with that either but I don't think our wishes should be met before theirs.

Given a legal system that decides guilt or innocence in a sane fashion, I might agree.
