major fubar today. Breaker breaks with my 10:oo oclock client and we joke about it as i go to the basement and reset. Able to do most things and off she goes. I happen to mark out 4 hours on Wednesday afternoon for catch up tax returns. 11:00 I start panicking. Baby boy in California and Leisher prolly really busy with upcoming events. Took me 1 and 1 half hours to get accounting programs and scheduling programs up and running. I think that is pretty good for an amatuer. Thanks sweety for letting me watch as you set up for just such a disaster. Pretty sure I can limp along til you get home.

Is it an APC? They "guarantee" their UPS's will work, and advertise they'll pay up to $50k in damages if a UPS doesn't work.

APC is the only manufacturer that guarantees it’s products will protect your properly connected equipment from lightning strikes for life. Should surge damage occur, APC will repair or replace up to $25,000 of your equipment.

A few minutes, + - depending on what all you had plugged in to it.

If you had a surge protector plugged in to it with 3 PC's and 4 monitors, it may not be able to handle a quick dip in power.
