Time Warner Cable is Starting to Piss Me Off.
I just looked up the Buckeye Cable offerings... does anyone readin this have Buckeye Cable? It already looks like they have more HD channels, and I don't think they are shooting out a signal from as far away as TWC is.... Buckeye has offices 10 miles away, TWC is more like 25.
I need a current customer to tell me about their quality. They also have a faster internet tier for $70/month, as opposed to the $50 I pay now with poor-to-mediocre bandwidth (again, a distance-thing, I think).

Time Warner sucks hairy yak testicles. I'd kill for a legitimate competitor in my area. & yeah, staticy as hell. A lot. & not just on my TV. On the TVs of all my buddies, too.

I have Buckeye Cable.
I also have the top tier internet package. I just did a speed test at 9.5MB down.
I have zero issues with static or anything like that. Although, I've had problems with them in the past. None since going to digital though.

Call me at the office tomorrow if you want more details.
For example: The problems I had and what they did to fix them. Pricing. Bundles. Where they're lacking. Etc.

Well I just called Buckeye Cable and she said "No" almost before I was done asking if they service our small town. I wonder how she knew so fast, especially since they were willing to come out and hook MD up, 100 yards away from me.
Grrr.
I noticed my shitty neighbors across the street from me having Dish Network hooked up, yesterday.

I think I'm going to cancel my cable subscription. (We have standard (or whatever 75 analog channels of crap is called these days)).
It's nearly $50/month, and quite frankly, I only watch ESPN and only for NFL/college football/NCAA basketball.
Dish apparently has some HD package that is $25/month, and includes both ESPN and ESPN2. In HD. Which would be over $60/month with cable.
Anyone have any experience with Dish?

It's not me, it's someone else.
