Terrible game for him, which says a lot about the Steelers getting blown out.

But at least they're not losing by 21! A negative streak ends! Woot!

7 straight playoff losses resulting in no playoff wins since 2016.

"No losing seasons"

Mike Tomlin is the undisputed king of mediocrity.

lol. Watched the first half only, felt like the Steelers would win. Man that 4th quarter was different.

Does tomlin stay?

Tough game for Steeler fans i'm sure. 7 straight blowout playoff losses is a tough pill to swallow. I thought the Steelers were going to win too, but the game really flipped on its head in the 4th Q.

I really just wanted to see Chubb snap one off on them and pay them back for destroying his career. It was nice to see he had a few solid runs though. I guess watching Aaron Rodgers throw a pick 6 to end his career as a consolation prize will have to do.

I can honestly see why the Steelers or Tomlin might want to move on, very curious if that actually happens though.

Nice symmetry in the bracket. Both sides have 1, 2, 5, and 6 seeds left.

I noticed that as well.

BTW, anyone who still defends Tomlin can shut the fuck up forever. You don't know shit about football.

It would be crazy if Zac Taylor is the only coach to survive the year in the AFC North.

Best day of my life.

The only way this could get better is if the Browns hired him.

Stranger's into some weird shit...

Seriously, I get why Browns fans want Tomlin. They've lost so long that being mediocre seems like heaven. That's not a shot! I absolutely understand it.

However, they should be careful what they wish for as Tomlin's success was smoke and mirrors. Man's a great motivator, but he's not good at Xs and Os. He also sucks at talent evaluation and cannot hire good assistants. But he's great at blowing smoke.

BTW, bonus that he stepped down and is still under contract. That means the Steelers retain his rights. He could come back in a year and if someone hires him, we'll get comped.

Not for nothing, but Indiana's OC is Mike Shanahan and is from Pittsburgh...

I get what you're saying and you're correct, we've sucked for a loooooooong time.

Now, let me put this shoe on the other foot.

Steeler's fans are about to find out just how good they've had it. No other team can claim such sustained success that even mediocrity is unacceptable. Now the Steelers have to rebuild an old ageing roster, with no franchise QB, the 21st pick in the draft and probably some hot shot nerd who thinks he can call plays really well. Football is so much more than X's & O's. I'd say being a leader of men is harder to find than a play caller. But you do you Pittsburgh.

Welcome to the desolate land of football famine, where Sunday's are long and the losing streaks are longer. It's a place we know all too well and it's not a place easy to get out of.
