That's PROBABLY a lot steeper than it looks.

That being said, those squeaky brakes suggest the things I've heard about poor quality construction are right.

I did more in my Civic. Granted, it was a manual, but it was still only 108 HP front-wheel drive.

I might consider a used tesla, but I have need of a real truck, when I need a truck. I'd have to win a cybertruck on Price is Right or something.

Even then the taxes wouldn't be worth it.

First of all, how embarrassing to be caught on camera vandalizing a vehicle while wearing that outfit.

Secondly, how does one not know about the cameras on self-driving cars in 2025?

Last few vandalisms I've seen, they were masked up for covid and harder to ID. The agents of chaos are adapting.

I think these days if you see someone in a mask, crime is about to happen.

Depends on the situation, but mostly ditto.

Under 25, crime is absolutely about to happen.

Nah. I traveled this last week and saw a couple of youngins with masks on in the airport. No crime. Situation matters.

Yoots walking into a store with masks? Crime.

Tesla Wants Its American Cars to Be Built Without Any Chinese Parts
Man, that's great! Everyone should be doing this!
Tesla has been trying to reduce its dependence on China-made components for its U.S. cars ever since the Covid-19 pandemic disrupted the flow of goods from China, and encouraging its China-based suppliers to make components elsewhere including in Mexico. But this year, after President Trump imposed stiff tariffs on Chinese imports, the company accelerated the strategy to cut out Chinese parts, the people said.

I would guess within 10 years, standardization becomes legislated or otherwise enforced.
!RmindMe 12/31/2029
They did end up all being the same, but not enforced. There were 2 standards, and everyone eventually just chose the Tesla standard.

This DID get mandated by the EU, and now everyone has USB-C

The EU mandated similar chargers for EVs? Good.

And yes, their forcing of the USB-C standard is one of their wins.

I was combining topics. The EU does have a standard charger, which, of course, is not the same as the US one.

That killed someone...I'd make the joke, but I cannot place the movie. Guy went to Europe with a sex toy and died due to the extra power. An 80s comedy.

Google says I'm thinking of "The Party Animal", but I have no recollection of that movie.
