It's 2.7%, which is 3% and it was 18K jobs. Why change the numbers if they're meaningless?
Also, why avoid discussing all the negatives? These wages didn't increase in a vacuum. All those people lost jobs. Are they all now employed elsewhere or are they on the government teat costing everyone more? Prices went up over 13%. That's going to push up the COL for everyone in a time when the COL is unaffordable for most. Bonus: The people who eat at fast food places and are most likely to be negatively affected by the 13% price hike are the working class, which includes fast food workers. Plus, the people who kept their jobs saw an average of two months worth of hours lost, which completely negates the wage increase.
The big picture is more than just x lost their jobs while x got a pay raise.
