Interesting little indy title.
You're guiding a child who has just awakened in a dark world. They and you get set with the task of saving this world.
The gameplay is just walking around, talking to people, and solving puzzles with items you find. However, the game has a gimmick that is pretty cool. I don't want to spoil it, and genuinely, if you decide to try this, do yourself a favor and don't go searching for a spoiler. I will say that the game says it's best played in Windowed mode, and this is true.
Actually, it has two gimmicks. The other one is right there in the title. You get one shot at the game. There's no save skimming. It DOES save if you end your session, but you cannot alter the save files or pick and choose.
The overall experience is pretty short. I beat the game in a few hours, but there is replayability as the best ending can only be done in a playthrough, which if you read the previous paragraph means going through the whole game again.
This is a good rainy day or watching sports/movies game when you can look away for a bit.
